Dear Experts,

I am an IT graduate and found the Quebec immigration would be a great option for me with the latest changes. I also have relative in Montreal.
Please help me to understand the process properly, I want to submit the application as soon as I can.
Do I need to submit IELTS result with the application? (Didn't attend the exam yet)
Does Quebec Immigration needs credential verification? (Not done yet)
French proficiency is mandatory to apply? (No french proficiency)

Hi
They will start accepting new applications by april,
Register and write your ielts and tef as soon as possible and wait.
Normally, they don't ask for evaluation but I don't know how April is going to be.

i need help from indian applicants who provided their tax proof mine has no signature of any receiving offficial only seal which is not in english, barcode, and a receipt no. is it acceptable??????????????anyone who submitted itr v without signature and only with stamp

I think soo too.
Its as good as not hearing from them.
Interview call and en attente de decision are 2 emails that means you have passed the preliminary review.
Which is what we are waiting for.

Well i've called them they said my file has passed the stage of preliminary examination and now waiting for interview.
do you get the same answer when you call them ?

I think old applicants are not affected by the new area of training. Please look at the website carefully. But yeah, the question is why they updated the list so early. In my opinion, they are just warning the new applicants of 2015 to check the points, who are planning to apply in coming April.

No dude they are actualy warning us to get more points by enhancing our french.

Not that also, they want to eliminate a considerable amount of applicant from the database, by getting their application fees. Mostly that will effect asian applicant i think.

Yes I agree with shery...those applications who'll be affected by these said new rules would be subjected to gain points in french to qualify and for that reason you'll be obligated to learn.

Hello Everyone,

I would like to clear somethings here, I know Quebec recently changed their Area of Training, so here are some clarifications:

Why the change ?
Quebec's Aviation Industry is suffering since last two years and more than 1000 employee's have been laid off, also Nurses who were High Priority here for almost 3 years have gone down reason being there's a limit to how many Nurses are required and I guess Quebec has met that limit.
Now Montreal & Quebec City both are Software driven cities which is the reason why Computer has gone up to 16 points.

Why change now ?
I believe all applications for the year 2014 have been opened and people who are preparing for 2015 have an idea months before applications start in April 2015.

Will i be affected by the new Rules ?
All applications that open after 26th Jan 2015 will be affected by the new list of training.

just realized that i lose 6points from AOT scores and have to add up from french section ( require two b2 level..)

i'm sure that i can reach one b2 in 6 months but not both at the same time.

therefore, I'm thinking of LMO (job offer).

how does it work? and what is the length of LMO?

really need this 6 scores for my minimum reach .

please help.
