@ shooting star, which area of engineering are u guys?ok with d evaluatn agency but ensure u accompany ur applicatn wit a notarizd copy of ur markcard.also, it'll b desirable dat u include a cover letter where u'll av to pre-empt ur reviewing officer by stating d reason(s) y u are submiting an evaluatn and not a transcript

hello ALL. the info you share is great.

well, i am just starting my process.

i live in the US. i just got my background check/police certificate. Does this need to be an FBi one, the background check i have just states Georgia which is where i live.

i moved to the US at 22, i cannot get my police certificate from Africa because I am not there physically. They say i have to be there physically for one to be issued.

i just took my TCF quebec exam as well results will be out near the end of April.

i am doing this process myself without attorney help.

what do i need to do next(aside from gathering financials, education records, employment letters, fees?)

your assistance will be appreciated.

I have to say I am shocked. Why did they not believe in the authentification of your educational and work certificates?

I mean whats wrong with graduating from the same school and working in the same company? I know tons of marriages who met in school and now work together.

Its ridiculous. Well, hope they send you your CSQ in a mail!

Hello!!!

i am a bit late , but no wireless working here. All Blocked. So lets start.

The ambassy of Quebec was so near my hotel almost 3o meters. i am staying at Post Hotel.
The offices are in the second floor left, better get the steps not elevator , was so strange.
i have just waitted 10 minutes in the corridor and than a man i showed and told us to come to hes office.
It was an old man around 68 years old, but very understable and very nice person.
At first we spoked about the trip in Vienna and than started the interview.
The interview last 30 minutes.

He asked me :

1, Tell me about your self, describe your self.
2, Your work experiences
3, Why you want to emigrate
4, Do you have knowledges in <Montreal.
5, Asked me about the school and universitz
5, asked me about my ideas and plans to find a work there

Everything was so greate when he just realised that me and my wife has finished same school in the same year and it was strange for him that we both work at the same place.(

He told me to wait in the corridor and after 5 minutes he cam back and show us for the second time the office.
He took all our original documents like: Diplome, work book and said to us that hes going to verify all those.
He said that the interview was good and if the documents correnspond with hes verificartion we will get the CSQ by post mail otherwise he will refuse our selection.

He said that i hope to see you again. these will take 1 month he said.( see u again for what? well maybe he is only trying to test if u will change any of ur ealier claims

I don.t know what to think now ( think only positive and think of how u will get ur PCC. All my documents are ok and secure i am not afraid of that but just if he seriousely ment that.( good that ur docs are genuine, so there really is no need for worries, MICC already stated that no all interviewees will get their csq on the day they are interviewed
Anyway this was my experience and i am happy that this interview finished and not got wrong.

More details tomorrow i will turn back to my country. ( safe trip bro

@Lirjan , You will def.. get the CSQ, NO problem. I have not heard any one getting rejected after verifying the certificate.

Anyways, if he want to verify your documents it's Ok..it's his right anyways! As long as your documents are all Ok..then don't worry.

I can imagine how frustrating that could be, but be confident..u'll get your CSQ

I just wanted to came back with my csq that's why I am sad, but I am not afraid about him checking my documents.
He said me that they have an office in my country and he's going to make them verifyimg my documents.
