I made B2 finally. It took me 18 months of intense study & practice in addition to my full time job. It is just a matter of your dedication & ability to keep yourself motivated over a long period of time.
And also I attempted TCFQ 4 times. I made B2 in both listening & speaking in my 4th time. I am happy knowing that now my application doesn't have any holes.
I have 9 in all sections of IELTS and B2 in French.
No more looking back now. ;D

In addition to taking part time french classes, I did the following:
1. Listen to french radio
2. Watch french channels
3. Start reading french comic books, short stories. Gradually increase your reading to medium level french novels
4. Focus on one exam. Personally, i felt comfortable with the format of TCFQ. So,I chose to keep giving TCFQ until I make B2. Once you decide the type of exam you are going to take, then look for relevant books for that exam. TCFQ has a lot of books available on amazon.fr
5. Practice the sample exams in the exam prep books.

It is a personal choice. Based on my research, I found that there is plenty of racism in Australia. So, I wasn't interested in a place where I am not treated equally & fairly. I would much rather contribute to a society which treats it's citizens in an equal manner.
Canada on the other hand has a much better set of policies & it will also be easier for my wife to find a job in Canada due to her specialized field.

Never really looked into New Zealand. Might do now.

Got my AOT on May 9th 2014. I sent the application on Feb 3rd 2014 ( Canada Tracking Info). So it took 3 months to get the AOT. Next is Interview which is 12-18 months in Montreal for inland applicants. I have 76 points with new rules but my lawyer says still I have to be prepare for interview beacuse of no points in French. I don't understand, if French is the only criteria then why have all these applications filled, why this long processing times?
I see from all these posts that they collected a lot of money in form of processing fee from many Asians to put and put them in Dark. I think it became one of the revenue generating source for quebec.

I would like to share our story.

- NOC Code U024
- August 2012, documents submitted incl. TEFAQ B1, IELTS score bands 8
- November 2012, AOR

Since that time we have not received any information whatsoever. It looks like the province of Quebec does not really take us, applicants seriously. We now reside in Ontario, and we feel so relieved we don't have to deal with Quebec overstated regulations anymore.

Dear Nikhil,

For work experience you need to show the following:

1) Appointment / Relieving Letter of the organization
2) If possible your roles and responsibility to be written on company letter pad and verified by its HR.
3) Visiting card of you if possible (mentioning your designation and company details)
4) Form-16 if possible

This would be more than sufficient.

Regards
Wolfy.
