Yes bro,most of the Asian applicants are receiving file number after 5 months. Then Bro,my spouse is preparing for TCF,thus I would like to get study links from you. It's very kind of you helping the newbies here. Thank you Bro.
I know a lot of people applied to the QSW from Bangladesh and waiting. But I'm not quite sure if someone from Bangladesh (I'm referring to those who applied while they were in Bangladesh at the time of the application) already became a Canadian immigrant through QSW. BTW, you applied yet or not?Jamal23 said:Bro,
Is there any person from Bangladesh who immigrate Quebec by QSW? I can not trust any more this process. I think all are fake for earning money.
Hi, I think you should know by now which rules apply to your situation...if you have got nothing but aor since the time you applied in 2012, i think new measures apply to you, read the link below:Z AND Z said:Okay, it's been a while that I didn't come to this forum. Anyways, I applied to QSW back in July, 2012 and received AOR in the last week of October, 2012. Since then I've been going through the darkness as never heard anything from the immigration as of today. However, just wondering if anyone could tell whether or not they'd reject my application due to French language efficiency (Scored both A2 in TCFQ and sent the result with the application) or if positive, would they call up for an interview or would they issue CSQ straight away without any interview? Getting frustrated everyday more and more. BTW, any Bangladeshi QSW applicant from that time in here? Oh, I'm married and scored 67 back then while applied. One more thing, would they follow the old rules to review my file? Hope, someone coming up with some hope. Thanks. Cheers.
If the new rule is applicable to me then it would certainly be nothing but a horror as I do not qualify due to the higher French requirement. And, in terms of 67 points, would there be any chance that my points go down due to the new rules?! It would either be the same or go up if I update my application with a higher scored French result. Well, that's my assumption and I'm not so sure about that. What do you think? What about others? Can somebody please clarify? Whatever, if I get rejected only because of the higher French skill even though I applied a long way back before the new rule implementation then that would be a plain injustice.patina92086 said:Hi, I think you should know by now which rules apply to your situation...if you have got nothing but aor since the time you applied in 2012, i think new measures apply to you, read the link below:
The new measures apply to you if, by August 1, 2013, you received one of the following documents from the Ministère:
an acknowledgement confirming that your file has been opened and the fees received;
an acknowledgement as well as a letter asking you to provide missing documents or conforming documents in order to process your application.
Did you still get the 67 points if the new rules apply to you?

I believe french is not mandatory according to new rules so i cant understand why you are saying you do not qualify due to higher french requirement. If you get the pass mark to qualify for selection and were able to understand and speak at least basic french during the interview, i think you have nothing to worry...Z AND Z said:If the new rule is applicable to me then it would certainly be nothing but a horror as I do not qualify due to the higher French requirement. Well, I'm worried as I tried the Quebec immigration's online evaluation few days back and the result came out that I DO NOT qualify due to not having enough French skill. And, that's the reason I'm asking the forum this. Anyways, Thanks mate for all your comments. The bottom line is, no matter what, those who applied for the QSW prior to Aug 1, 2013 must be evaluated according to the old rule. Don't you think this is insane? And what makes them taking this long? There must be an end of this frustration and applying even more that a year back before the new immigration rule being implemented and then being given points as per the new rule is such a mean joke!!! This ain't fair at all!!!!patina92086 said:I believe french is not mandatory according to new rules so i cant understand why you are saying you do not qualify due to higher french requirement. There is a big possibility that your points will go down caused by the implementation of the new rules most esp if your aot is not on the current list of priorities anymore... I suggest you try the online evaluation to get an idea.

I am sorry to know about your circumstances Z AND Z and stacyluv, many aspiring applicants who applied years back had pretty much the same sentiments as yours...I guess you are right, a lot of things are unfair in canada. The sad reality is the "unfairness" thing does not end once you arrived and landed in this country. Almost primarily due to the fact that we are new comers, we'll be faced with many obstacles before they give accreditation to our profession, its as if they really don't want to give it to new immigrants at all due to these barriers they've put up. I don't think we have to be discouraged once our application gets rejected. The world is a huge place to live. I am trying my luck in other countries also, and if any of these countries will be the first one to open its door for me, I'll not wait for 2 years to finally get to Canada and study there for another 2 years just to be able to practice my profession, and worst end up as a caregiver because i wasn't able to pass their french language exam requirement. Cheersstacyluv7987 said:I am file was affected. So I believe is unfair too; and i haven't see any change in immigration rules from the new immigration minister yet. :-\
Well, I only wish if I could as I don't have any extra time to focus on the French skill development due to my extreme workload. And, getting B2 is not that easy for a person like me as it takes a while as well as it needs some serious practice. Therefore, the more I work out regarding the QSW immigration process, the more I get to know the fact that unless there's a miracle, my application's gonna be rejected. You know what.... there are thousands of applicants out there similar to my status and the Quebec immigration does not have any right to play games with us as a lot of time, money, effort and hope have been put already. Damn!!!!! BTW, from your timeline I see you got your AOR in no time right after the application; hence just wondering, if I could know from which country you applied? Thanks mate. Cheers.kuro_shio said:At this point, pretty much everyone will be processed according to the new rules, I had to pass the DALF C1 because of this and I've been in waiting list for almost 2 months already.
Don't waste your time, get to pass B2 at least asap.
