BTW how this new situation will affect your file?

If my application will be treated as signalmaker have suggested, then I will not get any points for French. I have reached to A2 level which gave me 3+1 pts as per old rules.
my spouse have reached A1 level (1+1 pts as per old rules)
also if they apply new rules for ielts then I will have only 5 points.

so, even if I am a pre 6th Dec 2011 applicant, if my file is treated with new language rules, I have now already lost 7 points.

very sad and strange feeling I am getting. After investing lot of money and 2 precious years of my life for this thing called Quebec Skilled Immigration, this is what I am getting.
How can they do this to all of us.....

don't worry at all, as an old applicant you will not affected by new rules, keep it up and continue what you are doing, never give up my friend

dont worry every arabic country its turn coming soon. one by one in the coming couple of years
now you still have about 3-4 years for your interview, work on your french

then you have 3-4 years security check, dont make problems..

i can give you prove many from some rexxx didnt get their visa, always security check..
you can see there r some ppl from your country, 2009 federal applicants

with all these discussions going on. i feel the need to put my statistics again, i dont even know what the believe anymore, but as we speak quebec has opened my file, as i was told by the lady whom i spoke to, she said opening a file means everything that an applicant needs for evaluation is present in the submitted application hence the charged of $1230 CAD on my card.

ME(PRINCIPAL APPLICANT)

age- 34=============================================== 16 POINTS
education- B.sc degree Accounting, MBA degree(Nigeria)=================12 points
Area of training(Accounting)=========================================6 point
work experience- 9 years banking experience============================8 points
children====2 boys ages 3 and 1=====================================8 points
Language(IELTS L 7, R 7.5, S 7.5, W 6) NEW RULES langauge(1+1+2+1)=========5 Points

i dont know if my wife will be awarded points for the statistics part of her degree. there is a 2 point available there, without that the above is 62 points i have 1 point to fight for at the interview, i can easily get 2 though with my current level of french and knowledge of quebec.

i request other seniors to take a look at my calculated points and let me know if i calculated right. Thanks for your help.

I have got a confusion regarding financial self-sufficiency which I just read on workpermit.com.They say that for one person included in the application should have deposit of 11,115 CAD and CAD 13,837 for two persons at the time an application is lodged.Otherwise ,no point for financial self -sufficiency is awarded.I have deposited about CAD 5000 only as we are three including principal applicant.Plz. help

qsw has lower fund requirements than this.

your senior now and old, OLD IS COLD your aor dated nov 2011 as i see your timeline your under old rules
and they said only frnech language ....

trust me during my interview, the officer didnt ask me about english, they dont care for it, but actually they hate it

hello bros i also applied for qcs on 29oct2011, i got AOR numberHA18xxxx and file number HA78xxx , when i mailed hong kong office they replied that reception letter was sent to you on 16/7/2012 but it does not reached me so what are next steps could i take to get all the letters on my mailing address and also how long would it take to get QCS. i dont submitted french cuz when i applied it was not neccessary to submit it, how to learn french speedily. I have question that do file number or numero de dossier is CSQ . when i called hong kong office at 0085228107183 a lady said , sorry call montreal office , doest it means my file was moved to montrel office. also when i written to montreal office they sent me a message in french in my email that due to act protecting personal information we dont provide any information regarding any personal file by email , so contact 005148649191 montreal office, I dont got any letters from them at my mailing address so wat can i do.
