Lemans when you received your acknowledgement from the CIO , and did u submit all your papers or still the police report?!!

my aor date july 2013 I am expecting meds by May - june 2014 or DEC 2014 because I received my caips notes 3 weeks ago, my file not assigned to any office and no bring forward date.

I submitted my file complete and already paid landing fees and all police certificates from each country I lived

visas usually are stamped with validity 3 months or 6 or 9 months, at least the cases ive seen was like that.

they are extending it by 3 months, as I seen that they visa are given every 3, 6,9 months
since you did on May , youll get your visa in February //3 months validity// or on May and they will extend your MEDS 3 months.

I have seens many cases and can give you their contacts to believe

3 months is the each phase duration indeed! I was told by the officer at the embassy that my file now is pending, in three months (in March)the review is expecting to take a place, then they will finalize my case by the end of June. So ladies &Gentlemen! you are expected to receive your visas during this current month, if not, so in March or in June (I call it the Three theory, or the Threesome))))), Or as Mr Lemans said: in Fabruary, or in May (depends on when you have sent the police certificates).. try to write them, sometimes they really answer very nicely. The lady who answered me was very kind and helpful. Good luck, you are almost at your goal, tap now for a power song and beat it. ;D

Not really no...same old, waiting for security checks. This update was about a month ago. I should receive caips early next week...hopefully it gives us some sort of indication as to what's happening.

It's your immigration file in electronic format. Under the Access to information act your allowed to receive a copy. If you know someone in Canada it only costc $5...otherwise you can use a third party company that may charge $40 +....

The notes are not always useful, but it's better than nothing at all.

dont send it, i received it couple of weeks back, and its empty and not assigned to any officer and no date for officer to view it.
my file about 7 months before you,
