Quebec applicants 2010(Damascus) waiting for medicals

i expect so many visas to be issued by the end of the year to claim the cap they have, which is more than 2000 PR visas for bucharest if i am not wrong.. hopefuly they start issueing them soon..

these visas not for Lebanon, its for Romania Moldova and Bulgaria applicants
but you see very free applicants from Lebanon, because if you compare files number, ppl who were waiting since 3 years their DA 31xxxx and my number is DA 40xxx

within about 4 years they less than 7000 applications all middle east area,
officers were sleeping no increments, no benefits, no motivation I read somewhere that their salary 14,000$/month and not happy

14k and not happy just because they are living in Lebanon, they have all the right to not be, do you accept taking a double salary and live in Afghanistan !!!! believe me shifting from Canada to Lebanon is worst than shifting from Lebanon to Afghanistan

not the ones in Lebanon getting 14000, its the ones in uae and London..
second, since you/we didn't see Canada you cant compare,

Also passports taking around 5-6 years,,, they intentionally delay it.

Do we do another medical test before we get passport? ???

I replied to randski, she said her PR is late almost 2 months, so I answered that officer during my interview told me it takes around 3 months
he asked me to do international insurance for 3 months, coz SSN and PR /Medical insurance takes 3 months.

I mentioned that now adays when you compete 3 years and apply for passport, they delay the process 2+ years, I think once you live 5/6 years in Canada very hard to leave back, also some1 told me will become 10 years to get passport

but my question, is it required to do medical again b4 we get the passport and dont ask me how I think about it , I am trouble maker hahaha

whats with the medical before canadian passport? when you have the pr and you are in canada you will get health insurance and every 5 years you need to renew your pr card even if you applied for citizenship. so if you are talking about the medical that you do now before getting the visa.. it doesnt apply after you land.

I said after your PR and when you apply for passport, logic they should ask us to take medical test, maybe we get disease after we land

officers get a wage around 50K per year..

The PR card does take 2-3 months to arrive by mail after you land and the strike may have affected the processing time at the moment.

When you apply for citizenship and pass the exam and become a citizen, you will no longer need to renew your pr card. You will get a citizenship card instead. You don't need to re-do a medical exam before receiving citizenship and it doesn't take long to apply and receive your passport, it would take the same amount of time as any other citizen applying or renewing their passport. The only difficulty I could see is getting a "guarantor" to sign your application form, which means you need to make friends who are willing to answer questions about you IF Passport Canada decides to call and make sure you are who you say you are.

As for the 10 years, that's not true. They recently changed the passport application process, where you can apply for a 10 year passport instead of renewing it every 5 years. So I think that's what your friend was trying to tell you.
