what do you propose for them? The woman want to go Quebec this September to start her studying there, and the man don't know how long should wait to land on Quebec. this man is waiting for Medical now, he is from Iran and received his CSQ on September 2012.
they are worry if the man's landing time on Quebec takes so long period,. any one can help???????

I am not sure what the solution is, because once her studies are done, her visa will expire and she will need to leave Quebec. I am not sure what the process is for a study visa to become a permanent resident, she may need to leave the country and apply for CSQ as well. She should contact an immigration lawyer who can help her with this. Even a sponsorship application will take more than 1 year now.

My fiance and I asked if I can sponsor him after we get married, thinking it will be faster. They told us, he will need to withdraw his QSW application and I will need to sponso him, which will get more than 1.5 years. So we decided to wait, since he is near the end of the processing.

Maybe someone else on the forum knows more info about this situation.

They didn't ask him to do a french test. He was exempted from the interview and got the CSQ right away. Where would it say he needs to do a french test? I don't think the federal cares about french, they care about medical and criminal record.

Im 5669 fi bi saf7a enno did u made the french test

If not u must do it

It wasn't required from us back then, I also got the csq without asking for anything regarding French knowledge. The federal is working on the files now, French language is the last thing they'd ask for...

I read it too, it doesn't say anything about the french thingy. plusss, the form was updated in 12-2012, it is used by old and new applicants, but any additional stuff in it are not required from old applicants, not in this form or any other form, that's how i see it

It's now exempted, but before it used to be mandatory.
