No I'm not a provincial nominee, I am a federal skilled worker with arranged employment opinion and my profession was in the list of eligible occupations in 2012. Please note that I previously were in Canada on a temporary worker visa and that's why I have the E000065*** number.

I wasn't aware they opened the federal applications for Lebanon once again. Has it been longer than the time shown on CIC? If not, then don't send them e-mails, this can negatively impact your processing time. This is what my MP told me here in Ottawa.

In my CAIPS there is due date for some of those levels i wonder why yours dont include it as if it is not planned!!

That's the weirdest part, I don't have a due date and there should be an assigned officer, there isn't either.

(-) indicates that not enough data are available. Processing times are shown only where an office has finalized 10 or more cases in the past 12 months.

Is it possible that they haven't finalized 10 cases of federal skilled worker for a year and a half ?

It is very possible, they work soooo slowly. Do you have family or friends in Ottawa? They can have an MP check on your file.

Your family or friend need to call the MP they normally vote for in their area. The MP's office will either book an appointment with them or do it all over the phone. They just need to explain the situation to them, (mention how there's no processing time on CIC for federal). If the MP's office is willing to help, they will give your family or friend a form for you to sign, which will give them permission to inquire on your behalf. They might also ask for a photocopy of your passport or an ID with your picture and signature on it. So, sign and scan everything back. They should receive an update 1 to 4 weeks after they inquire on your behalf.

DOn't think so, because doesn't her student visa expire eventually? She will need to apply as a permanent resident to be able to sponsor him. For now, they are both independent applications.

what do you propose for them? The woman want to go Quebec this September to start her studying there, and the man don't know how long should wait to land on Quebec. this man is waiting for Medical now, he is from Iran and received his CSQ on September 2012.
