Yes, another example of people who may have had priority for CSQ don't have it for federal. Same situation as my fiance. He got his CSQ after 4 months with no interview but had beeing waiting for medicals since 2010.

It seems they are sending lots of files to Romania. Hopefully they don't backlog Bucharest as well!

they have a wide cap in Romania more than 2500 visa a year, Beirut office is a small VO so hopefully it wont affect the average process time there..

hey guys, i just received my CAIPS notes actually GCMS request how the form says, after 4 weeks from the request, it is 23 pages, there is no codes like you used to talk guys, and no BFD, but obviously my file has been in process in Bucharest since Feb 2013 and i had no idea!!! ecas still mentions app received and thats all! security check hasnt started yet, medical exams due date 03-feb-2014 exactly one year after my file opened so that means 2 more months for passport request, like that they still adopt the 14 months processing time

obviously there was no any mentioning of priority file or anything..

thanks god! no matter how long it takes just knowing about it, lets one relaxes..

Maybe the new GCMS doesn't show the codes and BFD...what do they have on those 23 pages? I noticed the caips notes repeated the same info on various pages. So did you receive your medical? Because you didn't update your info.

no i haven't received my medicals, GCMS mentioned that feb 2014 are my medical due date, there is some repeated information and so much blank, theny mentioned that my application was opened in feb 2013 and none of decisions was taken yet, hope the medical date is fix and they dont delay it later on..

hope so, who already waited 3 years is not logic to start from the zero.. as i can see my file wasn't sent to beirut but directly to romania or maybe only transit via beirut

yesterday I asked my lawyer consultant from montreal about time it takes for visa in abu dhabi visa office, since they has lot of cases from gulf.

she said 11 to 13 months maximum for visa to be stamped for new applicants.

I submitted yesterday my file and I paid federal + landing fees at once as its recommended 1040 CAD

Here through friends who got medical, 6 months after file transfer then passport request after 45 days from Medical

we all hope that it's good,unfortunately it's mentioned on Abu Dhabi web site thatthe federal processing time is 40 months.

i can't understand why they need this whole time afetr getting CSQ.

These 40 months in abu dhabi vo and 37 months in Beirut vo isn't time to issue visa, but its process time took for last visas (old applicants)

As I hear that new applicants from Lebanon files are transferred to Romania not Beirut

Yesterday I received my CAPIS note,
It says that bring forward day is PPS 28/04/2013 as I read on the forum PPS it means paper screening...
Any idea, after this step how much gonna take for medical?
My CSQ was in August and my Federal is in process since 1.Nov 2010 and now it is in Amman

My BFD date was in April 22,2013 and until now I haven't received any medical. I'll be contacting my mp in Ottawa today to get some updates as advised by cic... I'll keep you posted so you know how much time it should take...

130= Its a type of canon that is used in Tripoli

I got my CSQ last week in Istanbul same code 130 its nothing. I also submitted my federal yesterday ;D so fast. I prepared everything b4 interview.
I paid federal and landing fees too

Domage we didnt meet in Istanbul
