Friends,

I just knew that my file was transferred to Bucharest... So I am guessing that all the Beirut office files are now there... How did I know? well I sent out an inquiry to the CIC offices in Canada and got a reply that I need to contact my visa office for details. They specified that my visa office is in Bucharest.

I know it is not much of a good news, but at least I know that my file got transferred for sure :)

No problem... I thought of the same when I read the news...

When you login to your e-cas status online (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas) there is a link for contact-us and then in technical support you get the webmaster address. I had a technical issue logging in to ecas so I initiated a conversation with them.

hello friends..I'm trying to enter into the online status checking but it doesn't go thru like before. did u notice any new problem with your online status checking??

Yes I had a problem once getting in with the B number....that's because they had sent the file to Romania....maybe your file is being transfered else where and the B number is no longer valid? That;s what happen to us.

I just received the CAIPS notes...I am not finding it very helpful...pretty empty. Can someone here let me know what the following codes are :

PSDEC 9 15-04-2013

REGS: JO2
PPT : 09-11-2014 and then theres a PPT #

and the most alarming BFD 17-04- 2015!!! however I do think this was printing before the medical test were sent. Also, it has all the emails that were sent by my fiance to them and that the file was transfered to Beirut...so I am sure it is now out of date...but if someone could explain to me the above codes it would be great!

PSDEC 9 means file transferred to global case Managment system(GCMS)
JO2 is the regulation from June 2002
PPT is the passport validity date if I'm not mistaken

I just checked again, I can't log into the ecase using the B number anymore...I can log in using the Unique Identification Number provided on the medical test. The status now says "application received"

0= not finished ... 1= done ... 2= failed...
PSDEC 9 15-04- 2013 = paper screening decision ... means file transfered in 15-4-2013 to GCMS and still need to be finalized
BDEC 0 = background check not finalized
OREC 0 = other requirement not finalized
SELDEC 0 = selection desicion not finalized
MEDDEC 0 = medical desicion not finalized
FINDEC 0 = final decision not finalized ..
bfd == bring forward date in 2015 ?????????
I believe those informations in your caips notes are not updated .. beirut office takes plenty of time to update information ....
wait 50 days and then order it again, then you will see in it the real bfd and you will know when they gonna finalize your application.
best of luck
