The end is very near I'm sure but the only negative thing is the wait between the medical and the visa stamping, it'll be a big waste of time without knowing the timeline for it

I have a question and hopefully someone here can shed some light.....if the bring forward date is in August (which means the deadline for the VO to look at the file) does it mean the medicals will not be sent before this date? Or is it possible to receive the medical before August as its only a deadline for the officer.

As known the BFD is the date when an officer is gonna open your file, and it should be in August:
Before medical or with medical request they gonna ask you to:
Update your information by filling an application.
Police certificates from every country you lived in more than 6 months.

If they stick to their word with the updates then we're fine. They're rushing big time before reopening the immigration doors for new applicants. Who told you about Abu Dhabi?

it's well known that the processing time for the medical till be received is 5-6 weeks. It might take up to 4 months till the passport request submission for visa issuance.
When getting the medical, it means a good sign, that the background check is clear. And that you will be in safe side.

it's well known that the processing time for the medical till be received is 5-6 weeks. It might take up to 4 months till the passport request submission for visa issuance.

Nowadays, it's taking 2-3 months at beirut office after medical till the app would be finalized.

it's an outstanding news, I suggest that you transfer your application to abu dhabi.... then you will save at least 3 awful years of waiting and suffering.. but it's written on cic website that the processing time for abu dhabi office is 37 months for quebec skilled workers

as known the visa officer will open your file in august then he will start assessing your information in August. he might ask you to update your information and then request the medical or request the medical straight away with police certificate and the visa fees.
best of luck and wish you'll get the visa in a shorter time.
