Hey Guys,
It has been a while since I last checked the forum and you know why of course, I have been busy with the landing process and discovering the beautiful Montreal.
I have landed with my family back on July 4th. My landing experience is summarised below:
I have two children that were travelling for the first time, so it wasn't very easy on them knowing the time it takes for landing and finalizing the paperwork.
My luggage didn't make it on time due to the short transit time in Paris, but hey don't worry if it happens to you. You just need to fill a form and put your address. The luggage will be shipped to your house the next day that is what happened to me.
The Immigration process at the airport is fairly simple, when you first submit your passports at the immigration window, they flag it as immigrant, and when you go to customs, they will direct you to the immigration offices... fairly easy process...
You will need to wait there for 30 minutes for them to finish paperwork, but when it is done, you will then go to the welcome to quebec office. You will spend around 30 minutes there and they will give you some guidance and appointments to continue your landing process.
You should be out of the airport in around 1.5 hours.
We are exploring lovely Montreal as a family, and believe me there is a lot to explore. You need to keep in mind that MTL is expensive for a family so bring some cash with you
Good luck everyone...

BTW I updated the Golden email table I hope I didn't miss anyone: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/damascus-beirut-applicants-medicals-submitted-2013-t163313.255.html
