Applied for federal (damascus): july 2010
AOR: 20 july 2010, (ecas showed "in process" till transfer to beirut)
File transfer to beirut: 22 february 2012
File transfer to bucharest: some 2012 or 2013 (ecas is still since than "application received")
First medical request (according to vo): 23 may 2013 (i didn't receive the request)
Second medical request and additional documents: 26 may 2014
Medicals done: 12 june 2014
Medicals received by CIC: 18 june 2014

I am very surprised how come u did not receive the medical request the forst time. Your lawyer must have received it!!!

If u did your second medical in June 2014 what is your lawyers opinion on the time to receive the visa ?

I don't have officially a lawyer, i did all the procedure by myself. The lebanese canadian immigration lawyer i know, i met her in montreal in 2009, i call her sometimes for advice but she's not my representative.

She thinks that i must receive ppr within 3 months like most of her clients, but i don't think so after what i saw in this forum. It's really depressive, ya man l csq khalsa w ba3ed ma talabo jadeda.... Ayyya ppr b 3 months???

Omega, u should ask your lawyer to email them and ask them to renew your CSQ.

That is what i did.

Don't wait for them to email you.

I think you should renew it by yourself ...they don't ask you to renew it...

Louay, i called that number a few days ago and they told me they want a request letter from bucharest vo. I mailed bucharest vo about that 7 days ago but till now no reply.

Canadians-to-be, Abu Dhabi Visa Office, became In Process May 18, got medical request on Thursday (June 26) - now, not even a single doctor is available in UAE before august since all of them are on vacation

I am traveling to Lebanon beginning of July... which panel physician in Lebanon is the best? I need one that has e-medicals to submit the medicals online and not by mail... Any ideas/recommendations?

I got 60 days to do the medicals - I guess they knew that it would be the vacation season....
