any idea on how much time i should wait for a CSQ number ?

So the passports ended up being sent to Bucharest to be stamped. The visa is dated the same date of "decision made" eh?

yes Bucharest from 12/3/2014 stamped it means before 1 day from getting the golden mail

it's interesting to know that the visa date is the same as the e-mail!! which means that whenever they send the e-mail, you're done... no more checks. So the delays in returning back the passports are purely related to the Canadian embassy in Beirut, or to the intermediate office..

I called vfs at 9 sharp earlier and they confirmed that the delay is from the beirut embassy.

Called the embassy in beirut and was notified that all applications processed in a different VO will have their passports returned by next week only after the file has been reviewed by a local VO.

I told you 2 to 4 weeks.
Hope it doesnt take 2 to 3 months like applicants of London visa office.

5 years process may take them longer to review each file lol , at least things are clear now, let's wish some good news to all soon..

Well i had to go to the bottom of this story and contribute my findings, now at least other members from the same case won't be wondering anymore but will have an approx ETA instead.
