Quebec 2010 Applicants Damasucs Visa office

As i can see that your AOR and my mine had same date as 05-OCT-2010, so i think we both might be called for interview on the same day in turkey. so hope to you meet there.

for the registration in French in Quebec:- should it be six month prior to landing for final settlement right. e.g. if i go for landing and come back to after a month to clear my all dues with my employer and then go for final settlement after few months. so six month before the final settlement i have to register there right? when i will to reside there permanently.
I mentioned in my file as zero french and only level-1 french result i sent from AF so it mean i am oblige to enrole for french advance levels right but that i should do six months prior to landing permamently.

Yes i hope u will meet there and that we both take th CSQ...by the way where are u from?
Regarding the french, my sister in low told me that when u are there and u go to register u will find no places...so thy enroll u in a waiting list , and contact u at a later point when they have free places.If u have some friends there, relatives, they can enroll u before u arrive.U send them a copy of CSQ and passport and thy enroll u.When u arrivethere u start immediatly.Is the same for nursery.

But, about the nursery I need to ask u where and how we should register?? is it online or when we arrive there? Also, about the French courses, I know about it.. but, do u mean registering online in the Quebec Government site or there.. or both??

I don't think u can register online, first u should see where u gonna live, couse u are obliged to register ur kids in the area where u live.When u arrive there there are no places, u should enroll them before 1 year, 6 month if u are lucky, for this u need to have someone there who can do this for u, also by sending them the csq and passport of ur kid.Is the same for French.Regards and nice week end

Hello to everyone,

I just discovered this forum and after a short check-up i can already say that this a great one!
Am a candidate to the Canadian immigration as a qualified worker for Quebec dealing with Damascus Embassy.

I started with this long process in April 2009 and am not done still now!.
by God's grace i received my Quebec Certificate of selection in May 2010 and now i am dealing with the federal section.
October 2010 was the date i got my federal receipt and since that time still waiting for medical visit.

SO THAT'S IT !!!

SORRY FOR THE POOR LEVEL OF MY ENGLISH. Am a french speaker.

I am from Pakistan living in Abu Dhabi for last eight years and working in Airline in Abu Dhabi.

I was honest to declare at the time of application that i was zero in french and this was true. Since i applied by my own and i did not hire any lawyer so i did not know that i can declare some level and learn later. It was only from the this forum i can to know that french is must even though my points were 59 then i took admission in AF for level-1 and believed that my points are now 61, this is what the lawyer whome i was in contact told me that i only need to show that i am learning french and i can show them certificate of participation and it will give me another 2 points and my total will be 61.

so as of now i believe my points are 61 and i shall try to secure another two points in interview.

You have a better level now at french? I am able to speak and can express what i want to say comfortably but my listening is weak. I am not good to understand what is being asked to me but i am trying to hear more and more especailly from france24 channel and songs that you sent to me on youtube.

I had this information before the schedule had been updated (on Sep. 13th) .

To be honest, now that there will be 3 missions in Turkey, I am not sure if there will be any more missions in Egypt for the remainder period of the year.
I actually doubt it.

Yes, missions in Egypt are normally set only for egyptians.
So, I guess those 3 missions in Turkey would mainly be for Gulf area residents.

I am attached to Damascus embassy not Abu Dhabi.
Anyway i believe God for the right time for me to receive this visa.
Accentuating on stressing will surely not help. ;D
