Quebec 2010 Applicants Damasucs Visa office

I'm preparing for Quebec and it looks like I would need a B1 in French to have a safe margin of points. Though I started my french classes this week the exam time lines are quite odd. There is one exam on the second week of Nov'11 which is too early for me and the next is only in April'12. Now the question 11.1 on the application asks for the exam results. Should I wait until April, complete my exam and apply or can I apply now and furnish the exam results at a later point in time say during the interview?Please advise.
I do not really want to wait until April'12 just to apply as the Canadian immigration rules are changing really fast these days.

Off course u can apply immediately, without sending any proof of exam..is even better to apply now before they change something in immigration rules, they are doing this all time.U can send them later a proof of the exam u take.I advise u to take TCF for Quebec, is the easiest one, and u can obtain easily B1 if u study from now till Spring on daily basis.
Good luck and do not lose time.Declare in application u send ur level is B1/B1 this will give u 8 points, and study, u can do it!!

I have a question if they call for interview in Turkey then do i have to take my all family members in Turkey for the interview or only me being an principal applicant has to go to attend?

Mazhar u shoud go with ur spouse only.But for sure not alone, the principal and the secundar applicant are to be present as the points are calculated for 2 of them. No kids.Only if they are over 18 ! Good luck.Hope we will receive this invitations soon !
I see the Medo's file is before us , we have 354XX , he has 353XX ...this means that there are around 150 files between us and Medo...... ...which is a lot......u think they will call how many hundreds for interview in a 40 days period???? They are 3 officers....i don't know...i don't even wanna think not to catch this session :'(

Thanks Fro , i hope so, but with them u never know, for this i prefer not to dream so high, even if i calculated my points over and over, and they are over 68 without adaptability.....but i don't know...I don't mind also to have the interview, I only need to hear from them, couse since i send my file in aug 2010, nothing at all, only the file number.....

I just called my lawyer , he has no news, he told me that even if our dossier was sent in August 2010, but was proceeded in 5 October 2010....when we get the file number......but i already know this details....SO HE KNOWS NOTHING, WITH LAWYER OR WITHOUT IS THE SAME ! :'(

most of those consultants are thieves they only take your money but their influence on the processing of the file is 0

Well the good news is that the que is moveing the bad news is that i have around 5,600 files infrount of me. My file no. is 40xxx :-\
dose any one know if the file numbers we have are only from Damascus or are they from the whole world?

thank dear. but if i dont take childern then how will they calculate the points for childern?
How much funds are required to me with 4 childern 5588/-CAD if yes then before going for the interveiw i must take a bank statement that shows equal amount in my back account right?

I am a US permanent resident in the USA. i hold a degree in electrical engineering from Algeria. I am currently studying Networking in Boston. I applied for the quebec immigration in October 2010 and I have not gotten any notification beside the one that I had on 1/2011 that said that Quebec immigration has opened up a file for me. Should wait and hope or take this as a negative answer. Is there any number to call or any way to check the status of my application?
You ideas and suggestions will be appreciated.

If I say No here, then where should I mention that I have started studying French?

MMM in fact he's not a consultant, there are 13 lawyers in Quebec in the Immigration, and he's among them......but even this he can not influence the processing like u have said.....but he can guide u well enough, I mean u earn time, and he's supposed to make no mistakes in ur file when he send it.It's like he gives u more confidence...

They are from Damascus only, ur file number should start DA000040XXX, DA means Damascus.Where did u sent ur application, in 2010 or 2011 ? Be patient, they will move quicker now.
