thank dear. but if i dont take childern then how will they calculate the points for childern?
How much funds are required to me with 4 childern 5588/-CAD if yes then before going for the interveiw i must take a bank statement that shows equal amount in my back account right?

Dear Mazhar,

The points for the children are maximum 8 points, and thy will be accorded upon their passports or birth certificates.So u are 6 person in ur family....what have u declared in the DCS, the amount that u are taking with u ???
There is no need for a bank statement to take with u, they will not ask for at the interview or on a later point....just when u enter the airport they will ask u how much $$ do u have with u.They will take ur word, the paper that u have signed, and is good to have this sum with u in Canada.Life is expensive there.

Hello there, no, not at all, u declare the level B1/B1 and th answer to the above question NO. And that's it.After a 6-7 month period of studying, u take the TCF pour Quebec exam which is in the end of each month at CCF and send them the result immediatly.They will not ask for it but is better or to send it or to have it with u at th interview.

Guys...yesterday i spoke to my sister in low, she just traveled to Quebec some month ago...I was asking her about the life there, just want to share with u....the rental of appartments depends on the number of person u are: if u are 3 they will rent u 2 rooms, if 4 u need 3 rooms, if 5-6 u need 4-5 rooms.She is paying for a 2 rooms apartment 670 $ with electricity fees.The bus per month is 75 $ and u can tracel anywhere, the metro is the same.The food is same as in arabic countries, except of cheese which is expensive.
She wanted to enroll in a FRENCH COURSE...u must register before 6 month to be accepted, and they PAY YOU 115 $ per month + bus if u live far from them.BUT: they will always ask for CSQ, the certificate we receive at interview, and in this code they have all our info: so if in CSQ we have a good level in french we can not go there register, take money and study.If in CSQ is wrote we are level A1, A2 they will enroll us for further levels.I think this is good for the second applicant.If u find no places in the french and u are obliged to enroll in an organization, u pay 50 $ per 2 levels.But u receive no money.
For kids under 5 u receive a 100 $ per month for Nursery, but nursery is v expensive, 25 $ per day!!and also u find no places, u should register before 1 year!!!!Also u receive from the government of Quebec and Federal around 450 $ /month for kids under 18.But the federal part is sending the money each 3 month.
( i think are 200 $ from quebec and 250 $ from federal...)
Is very hard to find a job if u know NO FRENCH, nobody employs you.For this French is important.We can not go there and spend all our money...we need to work!

( i think are 200 $ from quebec and 250 $ from federal...)
Is very hard to find a job if u know NO FRENCH, nobody employs you.For this French is important.We can not go there and spend all our money...we need to work!

Well the good news is that the que is moveing the bad news is that i have around 5,600 files infrount of me. My file no. is 40xxx :-\
dose any one know if the file numbers we have are only from Damascus or are they from the whole world?

Congrats, this is a great news.. .. you applied on July 2010, and ur file No. is: 35xxx... I applied on Oct. 2010 and my file No. is: 38xxx .. this means the avarge number of applicants is around 1000 a month, less or more.
but anyway.. many congrats..... Hey, by the way, what is the level u need in French?? and what is ur actual level now??

Though my BIQ is HongKong but I am following this thread regularly. I have got some good news for you guys specially for those applied in August, September 2010 to BIQ Damascus.

Few of my Iranian friends in a Persian forum have written that they are called to Interview for the month of November 2011 in Istanbul Turkey. Some of them are in Priority list and some of them are Ordinary applicants. They have file numbers of August and September of 2010.

I had this information before the schedule had been updated (on Sep. 13th) .

To be honest, now that there will be 3 missions in Turkey, I am not sure if there will be any more missions in Egypt for the remainder period of the year.
I actually doubt it.

Yes, missions in Egypt are normally set only for egyptians.
So, I guess those 3 missions in Turkey would mainly be for Gulf area residents.
