I have been on the waiting list for less then two months only, so it seems I should go to sleep for one more year to be called for an interview

is there a way for someone to check if he is on waiting list of not?

I think it is just the email we receive to start our preparation for the interview. When you call them by phone they just tell you that your file is under consideration but they never give any tiny piece of useful information. They are completely useless.

By the way, today I learned from a friend of mine who applied in Nov 2010 that she was called for an interview. Her appointment in Istanbul is in mid September.

i have some questions :
1- how the embassy will know that i did the medical examination ?
2-how long it will take between medical and passport request ? and what they doing in this time ( meaning background check , or medical processing ) ?
3-according Caips of my file : security criminality ( police certificates are done) , and they didn't ask me to provide a new police certificate , do you think that will help to reduce the time between medical and passport request ?
4- did the Doctor( during medical examination ) ask you when you submit your immigration file ? because he ask me two time and pointed the year on his file ?

My application is filed on November 30, 2010 .... this means that i could be called for an interview any minute now... Logged to Hotmail 24/7 & freezed all my vacation plans to Europe during the period August - September...

We need to know her file number..

What do I need to take to the interview with me? If you tell me a copy of my application that i submitted in 2010, I glade tell you that no way on earth I have any of this still.... Please let me know of any specific documents so I get them ready...

Also, I wanna ask... how are you notified of your interview date? is it through the same email that they say inform you that you've been placed on the waiting list? Need to know as dont want the interview email going to junk folder.. you know what i mean? that would be .. hilariAs.

You are in Dubai right?

Yes you have to take
- an updated applications of CSQ and CF application its very important
- Birth Certificate/// no ekhraj kayed as your parent to make for you one.
- your original degree + transcript + bacc 2 translated.
- Salaries payslips //first 3 and last month
- your work contract orginal and print your visa for each contract and attach them
- Lebanese ID ( Hawiye is a must after CSQ for federal)
- print jobs offers ,,use Empoi Quebec,,, the interview reads it and asks you about it.(He done with me)
- print houses rent offers where you want to live.

They will inform you by email, 2 months b4 your interview,
you submitted on 30 nov or its received on 30? you have to make sure then your december applicant

1- how the embassy will know that i did the medical examination ? Once u do the medical exam it will be uploaded and send instantly to where it will be analyzed. Cic will show on the e-cas within 5 days maximum that's medical results have been received.

2-how long it will take between medical and passport request ? and what they doing in this time ( meaning background check , or medical processing ) ? It will take from 10-12 weeks if everything is complete

3-according Caips of my file : security criminality ( police certificates are done) , and they didn't ask me to provide a new police certificate , do you think that will help to reduce the time between medical and passport request ? I'm not sure about it but still there's a queue for reviewing the updated docs and making a decision

4- did the Doctor( during medical examination ) ask you when you submit your immigration file ? because he ask me two time and pointed the year on his file ? He didn't ask anything, he only did the exam and sent it cause he already knows ur file case from the e-medical system

ouf my file received about 4 weeks b4 you, and i had my interview last May.... so im 600 files b4 you, your files 40700? right

between me and mike there were 1000 files, i had my interview 5 months after him, so you might be called for september
