I mean like what the hell! you made it seem like a desperate place where everybody is trying to leave... well... that could be true.... generally it all depends on your profile... but i see what you mean...

They already start to calculate the immigrants number that they have and they are counting on their kids and the next generation bla bla bla ..
So 50.000 immigrant/year with their kids 2 by family etc ... do the MATH

Its true what i am telling you, not drama, read about EOI system,
see if you want to take passport , you must stay 6 years in canada, after 3 years staying in canada you can apply for passport and they delay as immigrations process so its taking 5 to 6 years

even they are taking the passports from canadians who leave canada to gulf

Well everyone here signed a form saying you intend to leave in Montreal (or another place in Quebec)...so the Quebec government expects you to live where you said you will. It's true that as a permanent resident you have the right to move anywhere you want in Canada...however you need to wait for your card to arrive in the mail...and that's approximatly 3 months or so. I called immigration Quebec with this question, and they told me since Quebec accepted you why would you live elsewhere? so from what I understand, you need to stay in Quebec for a few months, and prove to them you did your best to find a job etc. They have the right to kick you out, since you signed that form....I don't think they will but it's better to play it safe.

canadian law allows everybody to move freely within canada, that is what obstruct them from issuing a law to oblige immigrants staying in a selected province, to my opinion ,moving at once to another place without excuses put the person under more observation but that doesnt mean is not a permanent resident anymore..

regarding the cancellation of passports belong to fraudulant and not only because moving to the gulf lol , lucky us as lebanese they still accept our official documents, since there were more than 2000-3000 cases of fraudulance only lebanese..

They sent me Imm 5524e form. Could anybody provide some information about this form section 16, 17, 18....
