Quarantine and ArriveCAN / Spouse joining

Spouse does not have a Canadian phone number to put in arriveCAN before traveling, do you have a suggestion?

Postponing flight is an option, but we are bound to one company for some reasons and the flights become hugely expensive at later dates (namely after my quarantine is over).

Couldn't your friend give your spouse the sim card in the car while taking her to the quarantine place? And I thought both you will live together, so your extended quarantine. So can't she use your Canadian phone number for the app instead?

yes, the friend could do this. So you think it is proper? That of course applies in the case she would quarantine separately.
So far, which way we would go is not clear yet, also it depends if an affordable separate accommodation booking can be secured or not.

I think having a friend to take the spouse to the quarantine place is fine.
