QSW Federal Stage - Application from Inside Canada

Hi everyone,

I applied for federal on 23 March and have not recieved AOR yet. I am a little worried because my friend sent the application with me which is almost identical the same day and he recieved the AOR on 27 April. Both are inland application PEQ. Any ideas?

I'd definitely give it a few more days / weeks. Timelines can vary pretty greatly. In my case, the AOR came 4 months after the application was sent. Can you see when your application was delivered and compare with his? It might even be a postal delay.

Well actually I filled both applications and sent them together and were recieved at the same time 9am on 23 March. If an an application is deemed incomplete do they send it back or contact us by email?

They send it back, mine was sent back the first time. I would really not worry just yet though, it's still very early for you to have an AOR. It's likely that the files are handled by separate people, and your friend got lucky and received AOR very early. I thought we had made another mistake after sending it the second time and it turned out to be nothing. Got way too much anxiety for no reason, don't go down this path!

I saw a lot of people getting AORs within 45 days. 2016 applicants. Hope mine is getting processed and doesn't get returned.

It has been a long time since last time I visited this forum.
I finished the medical exam end of March (on March 25) and the results were received by CIC on April 8, 2016.
Then, on april 18, 2016, I received the RPRF request and paid on the same day.

It remains the last step: PPR.
This would take even several months. I wish it can come by end of May or June, 2016.

"Dear Nish123,

I am the main applicant and my passport is expiring within one year. I have asked the same to my case manager and I have been said there is no problem to renew it.
I will renew it within the next 2 months, if any new info to share with regards to this, i will gladly do it.

Still nothing here, but it seems to be all over the place. We got AOR at the very beginning of march and no update or communication since, but others get their Medical request 1-2 weeks later...

Same here, got AOR March 31st and no news since then.
I think it's normal. A matter of time.
Hope we get it soon.

To those asking about problems on CSQ: I had a typo on my wife's DOB (they inverted two digits). I called BIQ on a regular basis, after 5 months someone there told me that they lost the request. They were ashamed by the mistake, gave me an email address to where I re-sent the request (basically copy of passport and letter explaining what happened). 3 days later I've received the corrected CSQ.

The problem seems to be that they don't have a formal process in place to correct those mistakes, so we're stuck in a processual limbo. May be fast, may take a long time.

Hope you recieve your med request soon. Do you know any inland applicants who have recieved their medical request in 1-2 weeks as i couldn't find anyone. As people who recieved there Aor in March/April are still waiting so don't worry you'll recieve it soon and PPR will follow in another couple of weeks.
