I searched the name of the person (agent) assigned on my papers as his name was written on the email update sent to me from midi on the facebook and i saw one (only one name appeared on the search box) that perfectly matched on his first and last name. ::) ::)

Hi brother,

you are not required to pay anything to this bastard consultants. I sacked mine after he made certain mistakes, he threaten me that he ll register a case against me and create trouble for me to get PR. I threaten him back and he very politely returned my docs.

If you have his address submitted as your mailing address, change it, Your mailing address should be your home address, and your phone number and email address as well.

Regarding AOT - it is - Area of Training - For which you are awarded 6/12/16 points, there is also a code for every AOT, you can search yours at

Regarding AOR - i dont recall the exact word in french but it is nothing the "receipt" i think "accusé de réception", this is the document what you have received.

Further steps are,
They may request you any documents, if missing/lacking/ not convincing in the application.
If they dont, they may/may not call you for interview.
If they dont call you for interview, either they ll issue you a CSQ or they will refuse your application giving a reason.

Hey,

I am too an indian residing in UAE, i sent my application from india only but had included my contract, pay slip and residence visa of UAE in it. They automatically opened it in BIQ-Damas, You can update your case with your resident visa, your employment contract and any other documents you have, I have read certain posts on this forum that sometimes they change the BIQ, they may change yours too. For india its 38 whereas for UAE its only 14 now.

All the best

Dear,

Hope everyone is enjoying the waiting game for a Big Dream. As it is shown in my timeline i applied in Nov 2013 and file opened in April 2014, received AOR in May 2014. We are Nursing couple from India and currently working in UAE. We applied from India and our Visa office is BIQ Hong Kong and the processing time is more than 40 months. But here in UAE the processing time is much less just 16 months !!! and they are conducting interview very frequently.

Now i wanted to know is it possible/good to move my file from BIQ Hong Kong to BIQ UAE??? Dear seniors please guide me and if you don't mind please explain me the pros and cons too.

Any inputs are highly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Thanks hardik_shah for your reply. I also applied the same way as you did. But my BIQ is Hong Kong only. May i know the current status of your application ??

Bro,

My file was opened on 25th August 2014, say two months back. IF the timeframe for UAE is correct, I can expect an interview/waiver in one year's time from now.

When did you applied ?? Your timeline shows July 2013, means took 1 year to get file number ??? :o :o :o

Yep,

I did apply in July-2013, but due to some stupid mistakes from the consultant I had hired, MICC could not process payment twice and they had to send my application back twice at an interval of 4 months. In third attempt with draft, It succeeded.

Hello All!

I've recently received my CSQ and now I'm wondering on what the next best course of action should be. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)
