As per my calculation,my application reached more than 63 points including 4 points from IELTS.I am planning to submit the results of IELTS after AOR is granted to me as I have not taken a exam yet but I am afraid that caps will reach soon.To claim points for my IELTS,Can I tick the box for the points needed to me as I am not submitting attestations of IELTS with initial application.Accordingly,I am also interested in french,which I am joining soon and the same question here is which box should I tick ?I know that I can not claim B2 since it takes longer than a year.

You have to click: I am not submitting any test results, both for the French and English sections.

On a later date, once you have the results certificate for IELTS and French, and with AOR there are other forms that you will fill and update your file.

I have 60 points and filed as single applicant (No French) ..do they still call me for the interview?
My occupation is in Priority list with 12 points and I am working Fulltime here in Montreal. So what do you think about the time it might take to process as I received my AOR from MICC in OCT 10, 2013. I applied in the QSW category. Thanks in advance for your responses.

Hi all, I am new to this forum. I am interested in applying for immigration to Quebec but I have quite a few apprehensions. I hope someone can help me.

I am a Computer Engineer, and I have learned that this is one of the occupations being accepted for QSW. I have, however, gotten my degree on this in 2004. My job in the last 5 years isn't connected to the job responsibilities of a Computer Engineer in the NOC 2011. The tasks I have performed fall more on NOC 2882.

I have IELTS certificate, but I don't have any knowledge in French. I have tried the online evaluation and it says I seem to meet the qualifications set forth for the QSW.

With the 2 gray areas I have identified so far, do you think I would qualify for QSW? I cannot apply to the FSW stream since the caps for Computer Engineers (I have had a Computer Engineering-related work in the past but it's over the 5-year-cap for QSW) have already been filled.

You can check this link to know the amount of Applications in the 20000 CAP received!! They have received 2598 applications as at October 15, 2013...

Yes Oszi this B2 issue has scared so many people and so many applications as well will be returned......This 20000 CAP for me is just a camouflage!!! 8)

I got a federal file number today Should be a good sign. Seems that things are going smooth until now and even more than I expected.
Had to call FBI yesterday to ask about my clearance, but in the US all document requests and everything takes very long. I suppose they won't decline my fingerprints that were taken with in an "ancient" style with a dye instead of luminescent element . But even then I got a federal case opened up. Wish everyone here gets the same timeline in terms of speed! Yeeha ;D

Really, really supprise when seeing your timeline. U're so lucky. Many people are tired because of waiting CSQ from 2-3 years. Your case helps them and me fell better. Hope God bless us!
