you guys know better here.... ::)
PLEASE, I NEED YOUR HELP,
I'm a single applicant (nurse) my current score/point is 56 (WITHOUT FRENCH), received my AOR with file # & receipt last sept. 25, 2013, I submitted my application for QSW last May 23, 2013, (presumed to be under the new rules) now my question is , do you think i will be convened for an interview or if in case i'll be called for an interview, do you think that i'll be obliged to take a french exam (BEFORE ISSUING CSQ) and pass the current b2 since i didn't pass any french exam result when i file my application? AND lastly, how soon do you thing i'll be called for an interview,,,,i'm nervous....

Guys BTW, don't get me wrong, i'm learning french wholeheartedly coz i know i'll be needing it for my regulated profession's registration (exam in french), i just don't have a regular france alliance schooling because of my job although i enrolled online and coupled it with my own personal/self review, hope i can learn something out of it.

thank you guys for helping others here,God/Allah will bless you a thousand fold!
Thanks & best regards,
NANZ

Most likely you will be called in for an interview. They say that once you have AOR, the real waiting begins. Just wait for your interview date, they will notify you anytime soon. During your spare time, try to learn French up to B2 level so that you can pass a diploma to add prestige to your file. I think it will be a requirement (not so sure).

Try Alliance Francais at Makati for formal french lessons.

I am single and my points is 43 only. Can I submit my application since there is a chance of 6points for adaptability.

Hi All,

Anyone from India who submitted application after 25th July 2013 and received AOR?

Mine was submitted on 27th July 2013, haven't got anything so far.

Just want to estimate how long i need to be patient.

Received my AOR (it was dated 8 november 2013).

Application was filed on 30 July 2013.
That is about 3months 1 week.

Now the wait and real preparation begins.

Wishing all forum members the best.
Special thanks to Stylove.

Since application is treated under new rules you'll need to attend an interview because the french score wasn't added to your file. However, you have time to take a test. I suppose that even without a test, if you show sufficient french during the interview then you'll have a CSQ without a test, assuming that your point breakup was correct. I met some appolicants who attended an interview and passed it, but then were required to take a test afterwards because their points were insufficient. Demonstrating a good french skills at the time of interview coupled with a minimum points should secure CSQ anyway :)

The only way to apply with under 49 pts is to apply with at least a B1 with the promise of presenting a B2 in 12 months.

Tchato I am very happy for you my brother. I wish you a speedy process. Always put God First!!! Remember you need to intensify your French Lessons because I strongly think a single B2 in either Listening or Speaking French will give you a waiver.

Du courage

i think you need to be patient for about 1-6 months before you can start getting worried.for now,I don’t think you need to have any fear.
