Waoooooooo. Congratulations lazyboy. At last I am delighted to see this. Just go ahead and land with the copies of all ll the documents you submitted during processing. If they sent you a surveillance form just do as instructed. Don't worry about the rest. Whatever instructions you are given depends on the peculiarity of your medical case. Congratulations.

Thank you so much DeeBruv! Yes, will ensure to take ALL docs with me (just to be on the safe side)

I hope everyone in this awesome forum gets the golden PPR email soon! :) :) God bless!

Happy 2016, yesterday I received medical request already. Problem is that last week I have colds and cough and I did my xray exam request prior to medical request because I have terrible cough for a week, got the results now and it say Minimal bilateral apical pleural thickening and my doctor requested further test such as spuutum. And this make me paranoid, what does the clinic usually see in the xray result in which they ask for additional test? scar? thannks in advance, as I need to wait before my actual medical exam.

Hi i have a question now my ecas showed that my medical results has been received on Jan 11th 2016 :(it means they passed my medical with no problem just wait for my ppr or have to worry about my medical problem Confused

You must be seeing a line "medical results have been received" The date is not displayed in ECAS (I guess u must have observed it on Jan 11)

The appearing of this line means that your results are CLEARED. No need to worry now, just wait for your PPR.

Cheers,
LazyBoy

hi, i just want to ask if you are 100% sure about this? thanks mate

Yes, I'm sure.

For me, even though my meds were cleared in May 2015 however my spouse's meds were cleared later (due to re-medicals) in Aug 2015. The "medical received" line appeared only after all meds were cleared.

Cheers,
Lazyboy

What LazyBoy7199 is correct. This line is only received once your medicals are accepted. Now wait patiently for your PPR. It should be there in 1-2 months. Sometimes, as early as 15 days if you are very lucky.

Hi. If there is a scar on your xray result, you will be required to do a sputum test. I will advise that you finish your doctor's procedure b4 going to the Panel Physician for the Canadian embassy. If your Doctor's sputum smear results says Negative, then it's most likely that your sputum culture too will be negative after 8 weeks. The smear result comes out after 4 days maximum. If it says Negative, then you can to the embassy' s physician to save time. If your Doctor's sputum smear result says positive, (God forbid), you will need to start a 6 months treatment. After about 4 weeks of treatment, you can go to the embassy ' s physician for your medicals. If they insist that you do a sputum test, you can do it but your results will come out negative because you would have started treatment. I have read about applicants who were 2 weeks into their 6 months treatment and their results at the Canadian physician test centre came negative. Make sure you clear yourself with your Doctor.
