Thanks Masih khan link. My wife's Negative sputum smear and culture, Is blood test ESR 40 normal for someone of 52years? this question is open to everyone. Can it affect my visa approval? Did anyone ever have this ESR count and got the visa? Please experienced forumites help me out. your urgent response is appreciated.

What's the result of the blood test? The repeat xray? For us to analyze better your situation.

IOM eventually called my wife on the 28th of October after 9 weeks of sputum culture. Result is negative. She was congratulated by the nurse, who told her to do a repeat X ray immediately because it's been very well over 3 months after the initial test on the 6th of July 2015. We were puzzled when the nurse took another blood sample for ESR and told my wife to go for CT Scan. I complained and she said it s CIC ' S instruction which we must complied with. Great forumites. Is it a normal experience? Please help me someone

good day! Hope all goes well for your wife deebruv... You should comply with watever tests cic instructed you .. ESR test is done to further analyse a person's health condition. Higherthan normal esr is usually indicative of inflammation,respiratory infections such as colds,flu or arthritis. Importantly , pray that all will be fine with your wife and ul pass the medical exam part and eventually soon have your passports/visas. Godbless deeBruv!

ESR test shows the body reaction to the diseases anyhow for women above 50 years the test should be less than 30mm/hr , IOM also gives the skin test whichs shows if a disease is active or not. No worries wait for your pulmonologist to see and guide you, the only thing this will do with your visa is will delay the time to months and possibly a year or so.

It's been 4 weeks since my husband uploaded his medical furtherance (chest Xray) and we have not heard from LVO yet.Everything was ok as per the doctor.... could someone let me know the avg period taken from London visa office to get back after medical furtherance. Also does the third-line get updated before PPR ? Really appreciate your feedback.

good morning ... need help .. were waiting for a ppr... but my passport. is almost expired and need to renew.. my question is... can i renew my passport without informing the cic? or where i can go to let them know that im renewing my passport? so that we will never encounter a problem ..... at the embassy...

You do not need to inform CIC until you get new passport
After getting new one, you should keep them informed by sending a scanned copy with a cover letter on which your EP #, name and DOB are clearly stated
Renew your passport ASAP while waiting for PPR to avoid from unnecessary delay when PPR coming

Since i used a representative to assist me with the whole application process (Campbell Cohen), i got an issue of finding out just recently that in Part 7 of the med surveillance sheet the address written is Campbell Cohen Law firm's address in Montreal Quebec, and now that our contract has ended unfortunately they cannot advise me on what to do with this. I intend to land and settle in toronto ontario this coming january2016, what should i do with the address and how should i do it. Thanks so much forumates and hope someone could help and advise me with this. Thanks again! Godbless us All.

Firstly, let me congratulate you on your visa success. Now, to your concern; I hope you filled on your visa application form that used a representative, if yes, it makes it easier for you to contact CIC and inform them of your change of address, stating the reason ( if necessary )

Continued to the posts i have made like the same process went for the xray, sputum Test, xray after 3 months and some other tests after which the IOM told me that you are clear now and go home. Now it has been 3 months after all these test I recieved a phone call from embassy asking me that have you done your post 3 months xray which i have already done after IOM called me for my second Xray (3months later after sputum test).

I am doubting if IOM has uploaded my documents or what could be the reason that the embassy is asking me this question (post 3months tests after sputum - i have already done it) ??? Anyone

In my opinion, you are very close to PPR
