I transmitted my application yesterday.

I have over 9x.xxx CAD available. So actually more than enough as proof of funds (family of 2)

But I wasn’t able to provide a letter/statements as required by CIC:
CIC website states that we have to disclose all accounts. I do have a 8.000$ student loan left, paid from an Austrian bank account every month.

I actually only use this foreign bank account in Austria to pay for my loan (about 150€ per month) and transfer every couple of month a couple hundred euro from my US-Account to the Austrian account. Currently I do have about 500€ on this account but I don’t need that ~750CAD as PoF. Average balance might be more around 100-200€.

I wasn’t able to get the required letter or a “actual” statement from that bank. So I just made a screenshot of the transaction history of the last 5 month (6 month wasn’t possible).

I mentioned that in the LoE

My intention was to just disclose this account and not to use this low amount as PoF.

Now I kind of freaking out about that and I’m really worried that they will reject the application for the reason that I didn’t comply with the required form (6 month statement and not only about 5 month and real statement and not only screenshot).

Any idea what I could do?
Or would CIC probably just see that I have enough funds in my US-Accounts and they don’t care about the Austrian account and the non-conform statements?

Hi mate.
I am in similar situation. My bank doesn't verify/stamp month statements, they just send it via mail and post, so I opened account in another bank but didn't present letter from my first bank to CIC (no debt, just insufficient money, I wanted to keep it simple). If they have any questions, if anything smells fishy, they will ask for ADR.

Before they make decision to reject application I believe they must send Procedural Fairness letter, at least that's what I read today. They can ask for ADR, letter of explanation or an interview. More on Procedural Fairness:

However, I have no experience in this so you shouldn't rely on just my opinion. Good luck!

Thanks for your input.

That’s good to know that they probably won’t just reject the application.

It’s not a problem. Don’t worry about it.
