Hello guys,
How long does it take for a file to be transferred from a visa office to case processing center in Sydney- Canada?
It's a proof of citizenship application for my 4 months old son. Please help

10 Months no AOR, 11 months now loading...

Submitted my son's application in February 2020, no AOR. The embassy told me last time I will probably get the AOR in October...a new saga begins.

I submitted my application for the citizenship certificate in june 2019, it arrived at cpc on aug 2019, and then AOR (acknowledgement of receipt) in nov 2019.

So if you mean mailing time, it's 2 months in my case, if you mean the AOR, it took 5 months.

You probably need to add 3-6 months on top now due to corona.

Are they even processing applications? Haven't heard anything since I received my AOR in February.

It seems like applications filed within Canada, or urgent applications are being prioritized.

Mine also changed from "in process" to "application received". Funny it went backwards. I almost fell off my chair when i saw it. And unfortunately to my surprise, i wasnt the only. Im also canadian by descent. My application is nearing the 2 year timeline this coming dec 2020.

Finally after 18 months, status changed to “Complete”, and certificate has been sent by mail to the embassy Sept 23rd, 2020. Was never asked for any documents or DNA from the time it was sent to PSU.
