processing time with priority code PPCHANGEWORK2020

Hi!
Anybody have success with this "priority code" from government to start to work before Work permit approval?
Based on this article I have applied(inland) on the end of June and no answer for now.

Hi, did you apply for a closed work permit with LMIA? It used to say they were going to reply in 10 business days.

Hi, yes. My company's representative applied with closed work permit. We are waiting second month for answer.

Hey - I'm curious to know if anyone has received a confirmation within 2-3 weeks as stated on the website?

I work in IT recruitment and I am currently assisting my candidate to obtain his new NAFTA work permit for a new employer. Currently considering to do a quick flag poling boarder run instead.

No flag point is allowed at this time since is not considered as essential travel

That might be right - but a couple of people I personally know have successfully done it in the last weeks (Vancouver - Pacific Crossing). (IEC activation and SOWP)

I submit my application with a different code "restore status as worker", my application got approved 12 business days after I sent the application. Good luck

Thanks but a little more clarification. Did you get authorization after webform or was the actual application approved after 12 days?

Did not get any reply with the webform. They approved my application directly instead. Kind reminder, for status restoration, the deadline will be 12/30/2020
