hey gango,
sorry for the late reply.. but i had to go thru 2 interviews ,second one they did request my wife to come down ( or they knew she was planing to trip to sri lanka) so they called her in as well
now they have requested ,i pay an ARC..and do my medicals again and police report again.. so i guess I'm almost there! still keeping my fingers crossed.
and also congratulations to you !

someone please help. I applied in dec 10 and march 7 i got SA and they said the file is gone to colombo. since then no reply. I am worried now. WHy does it take so long to process spousal sponsorship? I am dying my husband also.

Hey ,I think they process these in batches ,but if all things are correct in your application, just have patients ,
assuming it would take a few more months, that's how the system works

I am in the same boat. I applied on November 7th; received my SA on Feb. 11 and still have not heard from CIC. I am so worried also.

Hi Everyone,

So my spouse received an email from VO yesterday requesting additional documents, even though we provided most of it. Documents requested were: my notice of assessment and current Employment letter, a copy of his national identity card, three-month bank statements for him, and updated Schedule A. Will submit all docs by the end of Monday.

Hope we will get PPR once they review and approve the documents, which I hope is soon.... :)

Its just another couple of months available for my prevention period so is it necessary to go through ADR or shall i wait till october and file a new application when my two years prevention period end.
