Hi all!
I am very happy to find this forum and thread, and I wish I had found this over a year ago, so I didn't have to go through this alone; just came across this yesterday.
When we first applied the processing time was only 5 months at colombo office + 56 assessment days; and it kept increasing...
Finally....
Yesterday my husband received the email indicating an Interview Date & Time at Colombo Office
He was asked to bring Passport and 2 photos according to new specs.
There was no request to bring anything else; however, on the email it stated:"
In order to assess your compliance with the eligibility and admissibility requirements for immigration to Canada, an appointment has been arranged for you to be interviewed...You are required to attend an interview pursuant to subsection 15.(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA). "
Because I keep reading that interview is requested for doubtful applications, I am nervous. Obviously
If anyone can please give me some pointers as you've been doing to a lot of newbies, I will be grateful.
