LOL that's where I made the mistake... I was putting 1 then I decided to change it to 2 and it worked lol. So guys I don't think the information available in accurate.. its showing the same c rap to everyone.... when my MP office inquired about the status of my husband's application they said background check is going on and he is in Q for the interview but look what his status states:

I think it states the same for everyone... don't think this info is accurate at all.. I know my husband is in the Q for an interview for sure and here it states NOT NEEDED AT THIS TIME....

Hey so yesterday I tried to login but failed cuz after 5 attempts I have to try again in 24 hrs.. later I realized I was putting my uci # instead of his so I guess I have to try again today.. btw did you fill in the passport details as well??

Yes, you have to fill out all the details... better to have a copy of your application handy. Make sure for number of application you put 2 instead of 1.


BTW, I don't think the details showing there are accurate... and believe it says the same things to everyone at the moment and not much details to see. Guess.. I will be ordering my GCMS soon . GCMS is much useful at the moment for all of us.

No update on my file but i have contacted the local MP (Brampton Ontario) and was told that Colombo office doing the background check!!!!!!!!

This is BS and ridiculous processing system.

I don't think I can add the link here but when you log onto your ecas you will be able to see about the new service and if you would like to register click on the link and just follow the steps... if you are not in Canada... choose the 2nd option to create the account.

Hi Suthatheone. Are you the sponsor?
I am the sponsor and I went to the local MP's office last week and I was told the same thing. They are doing the background check and my husband is in Q for the interview. 13 months ended since I sponsored him and have not heard back from the immigration after Jan(that's when they requested for additional documents).
