Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

they know exactly what they are doing because for me at that time the processing period was 18 month for srilanka visa office and i didnt hear anything till 17 months... End of 18th month they informed us my case is refused..so u wil hear withing two weeks.. dont worry

Oh man I wasn't even this nervous when I was writing my final exams during university. This is really crazy!!! Oh well I will keep you all posted.

Don't worry! Vijay!!keep faith.byw why they refused your visa?and few ppl in this forum are not here so there are chances that they hv gotten visa?!

did you notice they have added new colomn "status"...i am not sure it was there when u applied... Becaue when i applied on 2013 that colonm was not there..

Hi Hus123,


Just give them from 18 like they asked.
They just want it updated to see if you currently moved or your address changed.

How you can add the info under your profile is:

Click on PROFILE which is on top right hand corner.
This should bring you to your profile and you should see FORUM PROFILE INFORMATION on the fas left side.
Click on it and then you have your page with information you can fill in and make sure to save changes.


Vijay- the status column is new...it wasn't there when I applied in 2012 but my friend had it when she applied in november 2015

no update...only god knows how long it will take and how their process actually work.

Hi lav,from where did you get Indian police certificate?and you crossed 13months processing time know!if u had refugee status in india then it will take bit time to get approval so you don't worryallbthe best

Any update . i sent my application and it was received by CIC on 07th December

Received an email from Colombo VO on March 25th requesting updated Schedule A for no.8 & 12 sent it on March 28th after that no update

ohh then sorry luci... I have no idea y they are requesting schedule A form for some peoples not for all... But one thing i know for sure is they are requesting documents to wait us more so they can show to higher officers or government that they are working on our cases...

My case is refused for misrepresentation.. I informed many time in this thread i guess i am the one who is waiting for many years in this forum.... Ya ur guess may be rite many may have got visa and left the forum ....

I initially applied on July 2011 and as similar to your case mine was refused in October 2013 now its 5 years passed and iam still waiting

lol its look like ur the one waiting long than me... Can u let me know y ur case is refused early and is this ur 2nd application now or the same application i mean did u won appeal?
