Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

How are you? Next week is not a good week for us. Because 2 public holidays in SL. So many public hoildays in SL last 2 months. I hate it...lol

oh well... what to do... this month is going to be insane i think. we may all here something, or we may all not hear something. its a little nerve wrecking. i know that if hubby doesnt get his visa by june then we are in for the long haul for at least 16 months. so another few months of waiting. makes me nervous!

2 more weeks left for me at this work place... I am moving to new company end of this month. It helps me to reduce worring about this stupid process and focus more on new work stuff.

So how was everyone's weekend?

I had a 3 year old's b'day to go to where I got her the coolest gift ever and she loved it on saturday. got home at 2 am and had to go to the airport at 7 am to pick up a friend that was flying down from Sri Lanka.

BTW my friend got sponsored by her hubby too and she applied in April of Last year and got the visa in November. For her, the whole process took a little over 7 months as she applied for the visa in the beginning of April and got in at the end of November.

Also, I will most likely be moving to a new company at the end of the month too

That is kind of good news. I haven't heard any news so far. I think this week is almost off week for colombo. Hope we will get good news next week.

yeah she's sinhales. no advice really. she only flew in yesterday morning. I will ask her later today and let you guys know soon.

No Watnxt.. She's actually staying with me but got home very late last night after visiting a family friend. I will let you know once I find out more..
