Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

my timeline

Applied on May 1st, 2013 in Canada
Application fwrd to Colombo on May 24th, 2013
my e-case status "application received"
I am still waiting for my stats to be changed to "in-process"

Sorry for the late reply, i actually got your mail and i replied to it immediately from my phone but i was wondering why i didn't receive a mail in sooo long so i thought id check and seems like my mail didn't get sent. Any way its been sooo long and im starting tooo loose patience over this. My husband mailed the embassy about 10 days back and we still havent heard from them. This can be soooo frustrating.

I dont know how the colombo VO is choosing the applications to process next. It seems it is not in order of when they receive them. Confusing..

My e-case says"application recd" but no mention abt medical.
medical done 20th march.
It s a normal???
I wish 2 check my medical rechd embassy or nt. wat 2 do?????

They send me an email yesterday by saying pay the permanent residence fee again.. What the heck man.... They are asking the receipt that I already submitted.... :'(

Hope we all get ours at least before Christmas. ;D

I'm new to this, but it has been 2 weeks for me too, after receiving the request to submit additional documents, which is 3 months pay stubs etc, along with the PR fees, which was also paid a long time ago. I guess they did not receive the fees paper from Canada.

Anyway my time line is August 15th application received.
Sponsorship decision made September 15th
Additional documents requested October 15th.

For some reason seems to be all on the 15th.

Nice reading what all of you have to say, it really helps alot.

2. We sent you a letter on September 10, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

- Letter was received. My side file all clear. DECISION MADE.

Permanent Residence Application Status

1. We received "MY HUSBAND NAME" application for permanent residence on August 19, 2013.
2. We started processing "MY HUSBAND NAME" application on October 28, 2013.
3. Medical results have been received.

- Visa office asked my husband to renew his passport. He renewed and was sent. IN PROCESS.

My question is, what is the Canadian visa office in Colombo going to ask us next? Are they going to finalize it? Or is there an interview after this? How long will it take? Huh Huh
