Processing time for spousal visa - Sri Lanka

Dear Rathika

I would appreciate if you could help me,

I'm a PR now but the sponsorship for my wife and my 2 sons was done while I was waiting for my PR under accepted asylum seeker.
the forms along with police clearance was given in Aug 2010 and March 2012 we got a letter stating that we have made a small mistake in the form. that too was immediately corrected and replied . later they wanted a copy of the case that was given here and that too was submitted.
but since then we have not received any reply. it is almost 26 months since we handed over the application form for my wife and children
this is under family reunion category.

Can I have a reply pls. I have sent few letters, sent emails, my wife has gone personaly to the high commision but no reply.

High time? Itz only for us mate, not for them processing time for Sri Lanka has gone up to 16 months. Did u notice that? Can't believe one got PPR yesterday. His whole process took just 5 months n 20 days. Will you trust me? He is a may 2012 applicant. Colombo CIC is making us fool. Idiots... They have no heart... they work like last in first out I guess I ll be hanging on this thread forever :'( if there were a god he wudn't let me to suffer this much I hate the damn God n bloody Canadian HC. Silent killers

hey frust i know u are stressed , angry and all..... sometimes you mights feel like life is not fear. But trust me be strong and dont focus to much on the immigration and do things will keep u busy, trust me i been through how u are feeling and i know the pain...but i learn to be strong and paitent....dont worry frust and all others you all have been waiting a long time and you are almost there so hang in there u will see the great result soon....its just matter of time now....good luck u all are in my prayers

I m really sorry for my last post, rathika. I wonder how u cud manage this $hit. I m really thinking of committing suicide coz I have no strength to bear all this process. CIC is making fun of us ;'( they don't treat applicants equally. They give chance for those who have luck. Itz like American green card lottery. They don't mind even if we are genuine applicants ;'(

hi all of seiner members .i am new to this forum

i am Sri Lanken and married with one child. my wife got scholarship to Canada university. so she applied for study permit and me and child apply for temporary resident visa . my child is 2 year old.

so tt service informed us to do medical examination . so we did that last 10th November 2012. so doctor already transfer that reports to the manila (jakati cpo).i last 15th November 2012. got this information through Currier service.

so i need to know about how meany days take approximately finalized the medical test.and how manila office informed about our medical reports. that mean are they Currier verified reports back to Colombo or are they have electronic system to enter our results to access Colombo.
i am waiting for reply from cho. because class is start January 2013. if you know some thing about processing please heap

your file is in the queue....that means that the visa officer haven't looked at ur file as of yet.......after they make a decision they will contact you.....hang in there they will contact you...good luck..

hey guys hope all you are doing fine..........i am leaving next saturday to srilanka...will be a long vacation for me with hubby. .......can't wait to see him ....lol i miss him already......hang in there guys you all will get great news soon....frust don't be stressed out it is not worth it be strong...god bless you all...keep me posted guys
