Hello everyone :)

First of all I searched forum and read all topics but I didn't get my answer. I'm going to apply for citizenship ,while I was trying to fill out the CIT0002E form I got confused about section 6F . Now ,for past 4 years I attended college and have taken English courses and for first 6 month I was in other country waiting for canada's visa.My Physical presence (days) : 1251 with 52 Days absent. how to fill out these section?

From To Work/Education Employer/School City, Country

Date Date Unemployment Waiting for visa in ***? name of that country?
Date 1 Date 2 EDUCATION/ENGLISH COURSES **community college (my home town), Canada
Date 2 Date 3 Summer break NA (my home town), Canada
Date 3 Date 4 Unemployment (I didn't take class) Na (my home town), Canada
what to write down?

Date 4 Date 5 Education Vacation Trip (should i mention my trips in this section ?)

Date 5 Date 6 EDUCATION/ENGLISH COURSES **community college (my home town), Canada

Should I write info for each months?
I don't have all my English report card so are they really needed?

Rule #1 is Follow the instructions. I know they're not always 100% clear, but if a section asks for City, Country, write down the City and Country. If a sections asks for Employer or School, write that down. If it doesn't apply, write N/A, don't give an explanation (like "Waiting for visa.") I bolded sections that I would change, if I were in your shoes.

"Waiting for visa" is unnecessary. The section asks for a school or an employer, not an explanation. I suggest writing N/A.

These can be combined and listed as "unemployed". However, if you were volunteering somewhere or if you were retired or if you were a homemaker or whatever else, you would be wise to call yourself that, rather than unemployed.

No, you will list your absences and trips in another section. So unless you were living at your vacation spot (you paid hydro bills at the hotel, forwarded all your mail there, etc), you weren't living there, just visiting.

Yes, you need to cover the whole period.

If they ask for report cards, get the report cards. Contact the school and you can get an official transcript (not just a letter). For this question, the CIC is mostly interested in whether you were officially enrolled and whether you regularly attended the classes.

When you look at Q 6 F it states the following:

If you were not employed (i.e. were unemployed, retired, homemaker, etc) you must indicate the reason for being unemployed and confirm the dates of your unemployment under "Work/Education" and indicate the time period.

For example if I was unemployed from 1st jan 2011 to 15 Jan 2011 as I left my job and got a visa to immigrate to Canada and was about to land on 15th Jan 2011, I will write the following:

FROM TO WORK/EDUCATION EMPLOYER OR SCHOOL ATTENDED CITY, COUNTRY

2011-01 2011-01 2011-01-01 TO 2011-01-15 Resigned job and immigrating to Canada Your city, County

I just wrote like this as per the instructions but rest up to you

In the section check "No" that you haven't worked.
Check "Yes" for that you have studied

See the example below and lemme know if you have any questions:

FROM TO WORK/EDUCATION EMPLOYER OR SCHOOL ATTENDED CITY, COUNTRY

yyyy-mm yyyy-mm Education Education Details Your city, County
yyyy-mm yyyy-mm yyyy-mm-dd TO yyyy-mm-dd unemployed, details about reason of unemployment Your city, County

OK Thanks, I got it now.

my chart will be like this :

FROM TO WORK/EDUCATION EMPLOYER OR SCHOOL ATTENDED CITY, COUNTRY

yyyy-mm yyyy-mm Education Esl Your city, County

yyyy-mm yyyy-mm yyyy-mm-dd TO yyyy-mm-dd unemployed, in college waiting list?Summer break? seeking for job?( what reason is good for being unemployed?) Your city, County
I haven't attended college this period of time

yyyy-mm yyyy-mm Education English courses Your city, County

...So on... and list all education history per each term , because I had many free time between each term.

Do I need to send them all my transcript for my English courses ? I requested from college but they had some of them and I have just unofficial transcript.

Make sure there is no time gap.
also you are the best person to know what to write when you were unemployed.

you can specify any reason for unemployment whichever you think should be right. You can say on holidays or break from work whatever the truth is.

They have specifically said in the form that specify the reason for unemployment.

ESL can only be used as a part of language proof not education proof. Did you mention it as language proof or education proof?
If no, what did you mention as language proof?

Read the following:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/CIT0002ETOC.asp

For Ontario: Ontario Provincial Language Training Certificate issued by the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration (MCI) funded language training providers since December 2013 or later. Ensure your Ontario MCI Adult Non-Credit language training program certificate indicates achievement of level CLB/NCLC 4 or higher, in speaking and listening. These certificates must be for:
English as a Second Language (ESL)/Anglais Langue Seconde (ALS)
French as a Second Language (FSL)/Français Langue Seconde (FLS)
Citizenship and Language Training (CL)/Instruction civique et enseignement de la langue (ICEL)

Note: If you do not have acceptable language proof to submit with your application or do not have the required language level, you may choose to enroll in a government-funded language program that would help you increase your language proficiency, and succeed in obtaining certification at a level of CLB/NCLC 4. Please note that although certificates from these government funded language training programs can be used as acceptable language proof, they cannot be used as proof of education for your citizenship application (see Section 4 Education Records)

Also, regarding unemployment, you need to mention the reason that is true and correct, eg. waiting for education results, searching for a job, switching jobs etc. Now, just think what you remember when you were unemployed and mention the reason
