Do you really expect Canada to pay all the health bills of everyone that comes here as a visitor??? This is why people get their own private health insurance when they travel to other countries.Fruityfull22 said:I have been googling for a while now and i just cant find what i need, i have absolutely no clue where to continue. In the Netherlands the health insurance covers everything and they remind you when the next appointment is. Do they want me to never get checked and then deliver the baby when its time and call it a canadian? I disgusted by all this.
If you think it's expensive now, you should also know that if there are any emergencies that cause you to spend time in a hospital you are looking at a minimum of several thousand dollars. And if you have your baby in a hospital with no provincial healthcare, you need to budget from $3K - $10K for the cost.
If you really can't afford to go through the pregnancy and have baby in Canada, then you would need to return home to Netherlands to have your baby. Note that even if you get married, you still are not covered for provincial health care in Quebec.
As I said in my first post here, search for midwives in your area and contact them to see if there are any available for you, as their services are free.
