BIL/MIL In Canada as US Outland Applicant?

Hello, all!

Just wanted to confirm that it is okay to cross the border and do my biometrics (and eventually medical) in Canada? I'm only 20 minutes from the border, and I am able to get in WAY sooner for biometrics in Canada than the USA (28 day wait in my state right now). It is also way closer. Medical is a similar scenario, and also way cheaper than the one clinic close to me in the USA. Will this cause any issues? I haven't received a medical request yet, but just planning ahead.

@brittanyatk13: FYI - we did biometrics in Canada for my wife (US citizen) today - had no issues. It was instantly updated to complete in IRCC account too.

It is outland application and she is just visiting me. Tomorrow we're doing medical from inside as well.

Sweet, thank you! Did mine today as well. Updated, too. Couldn't swing a medical appointment same day, but I'm going to go back next week and do that in Canada as well.
