I've tried searching the forum - but can't find the info I need and am hoping someone here can help.

My husband is trying to obtain paperwork he needs to convert is US drivers license to a Canadian one.

We would like to expedite the mailing of this information from the US back to us in Canada. For this reason want to include a pre-paid courier envelope with our request.

So the question is... How can we buy a pre-paid courier envelope in Canada for something that is going to be sent from the US to Canada? We've called DHL and Purolater and they're saying it can't be done. This doesn't seem right to me and I'm wondering if we happened upon the wrong call centre staff or didn't ask our question the right way.

Anyone have an answer or suggestion?

Thanks!!!

I once tried to do something like this 2 or 3 years ago via Canada Post was told it was not possible. The only way I can think it can be done is if you have an account with Fedex (not sure about DHL) and you send them a way bill with your account number on it (and indicate on the waybill that the shippment is to be billed to that account number). That way when they send the licence back, they just use the waybill you've sent them and the cost of the courier service from USA to Canada gets billed to your account. Of course this only work if you have your own account (something usually only businesses have).

Good idea TGR. You can get a fedex account without a business, it's free. They just need a debit/credit card to hook up to it.
