Which things they ask you to update ? Did they ask for new POF also ?

Hi, nope they did not ask new POF, they required us to submit updated PCC and forms. Hope they will send MR soon for all of us. Just scared maybe it was lost...

Hi All,

Great to check my mailbox today and find a letter from CIC and it's the MR at last after my ECAS update Reviewed and started processing on February 20, 2012. Date of MR request is March 3, 2012, so it's barely 2 weeks.

Those who have this status update, MR is on the way now.

Good luck and keep on posting for us to have some updated information on how it takes one step onwards about our application.

For couple of people in the e-cas status i see that they clearly mention that file has been transferred to New Delhi office as shown below:

We received your application for permanent residence on February 16, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 24, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on March 30, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on January 13, 2012.

Where as my status shows:

We received your application for permanent residence on April 12, 2010.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 2, 2012. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 2, 2012

Is this the same case with with all or is there any difference in e-cas status update between the MI-1 / MI -2 / MI -3..... ????

I think above is that who's file is transferred and your file is again applied after approval. Both are same meanings.
