Pre arrival-Spousal PR sponsorship- spouse in Australia

Hello

I have received the pre arrival letter for my husband in Australia on Aug 23rd, 2024.
I hope it is a good sign but I also know it is not a guarantee.

Any idea of how long PPR would take, what’s the estimated time like these days?

Congrats!!! Normally pre arrival letter is sent when you are at the end stage of the application and past eligibility. The wait time really depends, i got a pre arrival letter for my husband in July 8 and we haven’t heard anything back but I know they started his security screening (which is the last thing now) on July 18 after we sent them a document they wanted. It takes a little patience. Some people get a ppr withing a couple days weeks months and some people are stuck for over a year.
