Hi everyone,

I have just submitted my CEC express entry application for PR and it’s been over 18 days since I have submitted but haven’t received Biometrics instructions letter to do. Is it normal?

Please note that I have given biometrics earlier for my temporary residence but I think It will not be accepted for Permanent Residency.

2 to 3months and we were ask to do a biometrics again.

Woow, looks like i still have some wait, i did not know i have to get Pre-arrival letter before Portal 1. No Pre arrival letter yet. Submitted March 1, biometrics completed April 8,2024 and medicals completed April 20, 2024, Final Decision: April 26,2024 with your application is still in progress. We would send you a message once final decision has been made"

My worry is what happened on April 26 if no final decision is made yet.? Primary VO Ottawa & Secondary Montreal.

this takes too long. maybe you can follow up with them and send a letter.

Yes, it is normal. There was a new policy that requires doing the biometrics again when applying for PR, despite doing it earlier for temporary resident application. I also did mine again.

Thanks so much dingkoy. i have called the IRCC agent severally and it has even gotten to a stage that when i call, they immediately know i have called earlier. They keep saying i should wait! wait!! The wait is something else. Next month will be the 6th month.

Hello, I’m new user, I just wanted. I have question about the jobs that can will be candidate for PR.
Working in the insurance adviser full time but the salary is based on commission, can be candidate for PR? Will I face problem about paystub because it’s not based on salary.
