they will probably just change it to completed once done from not started, IRCC websites are full of glitches or you can say they are too busy to update status. I received my PR Card on Nov 1, 2024 and until today more than 120 days later it still shows in review on the PR Portal although in the tracker they have closed my application so don't worry if they need any info they will simply email you other than that waiting is the only option.

well thats a relief then. do you suggest that i should apply for gcms notes?
Oct 17 Aor. and as i mentioned, they told me eligibility recommend passed and bgc not started on Feb 5th.
I got an ghost update on 13 feb, but havent received P1 yet.

i see people from oct getting coprs

Thank you for sharing this. It's so sad to see random job layoffs, but this discussion provides a lot of insight into what happens behind the curtain.

So each officer roughly lands about 50 individuals per day. And according to what I've read, they have thousands of applications laying around in inventory, and no one will process them unless they are moved to active officers. No wonder some eCoPRs are being delayed while others are being sent on time.
50 per day * 50 lay off = 2500 fewer ecoprs per day in March
ouch

[Question about updating CRA account after EcoPR and new SIN]
Hi everyone, I received my EcoPR on February 14th and updated my SIN the same day. When I tried to log in to my CRA account yesterday, it was already locked. I attempted to create a new account on the CRA website using my new SIN, but I couldn't do it. When I click on the button to register an account, it redirects me to a page on the site that explains how to create a new account, but there's no place to fill in the information. Is anyone else having issues with this?

So how is the application moved in the queue to land in the officer's hands? Randomly?

Can someone please help me with my question? I submitted my CEC applications in October with an LMIA. Now because of tariffs, I was just notified that I'm being laid off this month. What should I do? Does this mean my application will be rejected? I don't know why god is punishing me for

Indeed, and that's only a team of 50 people who were laid off; imagine how many more were let go. Plus, those who have been directed that their contract has been terminated may be unlikely to work as hard as they once did.

So how is the application moved in the queue to land in the officer's hands? Randomly?

Your guess is as good as mine. Nobody knows how the applications are assigned. In an ideal world, it should be first in, first out, but we all know that's not the case with IRCC.

Is it true that if you received your P1 from IRCC.ClientPortalEast-EstClientPortail.IRCC@cic.gc.ca, your landing office is Montreal, and you would receive your eCoPR from the same office? I read this on a Facebook group and wanted to confirm its accuracy.

Could people who received their eCoPRs from Montreal please confirm that they received their P1 from the above email address? It looks like "East" in the email address refers to the Montreal office.

Hi Guys, So my PR file was applied by an immigration consultant through there GC Key.
I only have access to my application tracker and Portal where my picture and mailing address are still in review. Is there a way to know when IRCC dispatch my card without linking the PR application to my GC Key because if I link my file they are asking me to fill a form that states termination of representative.
Please guide if somebody is in similar situation?
Hey, any insights on this please....

I don't believe there is another way to check besides GC Key. What does your consultant say?

It's been a dry Friday so far.. Plus IRCC laying-off 50 landing team-members (who particularly issues eCOPR) news, makes it unbearable!

My 185 days since AOR and 85 days since P2 - No Respite Yet.

Yes, I received P1 email from the email above and received my COPR from Montreal

Great! Then I feel that this theory is true. I'm curious as to what email address folks receive their P1s from if their landing office is in Etobicoke.

Your golden email is on its way. It's just the delay and unpredictability that make it difficult to deal with. Just hang in there!
