Receive my pr card some minute agoMy pr card sent out 15 of September 2023 still waiting to receive it
Hi all,
Does anyone know how long it take to get the pr card, my was mailed on 16 September but in my portal there's nothing updated still showing it's under review.
Thank you
Hey just wondering, I’m currently in the same boat, been 26 days now! Did you ever receive the card? If so how long did it take??The card was mailed on April 30, but I didn't receive it yet. Is this normal?
It actually took around 7 weeks. Just make sure that the address is correct and double-check with IRCC. If it is, it will probably arrive but might be late.Hey just wondering, I’m currently in the same boat, been 26 days now! Did you ever receive the card? If so how long did it take??
26 days is sort of early to expect your PR cards. It is expected to wait two months for your PR card. In a lot of cases, agents don't even have records to provide status updates before 2 months as these cards don't even go into processing.Hey just wondering, I’m currently in the same boat, been 26 days now! >I believe because the noob canada post employeemine actually got sent back to them, I believe because the noob canada post employee couldn’t figure out my mailbox, so I’ve changed my address to a friends address and they mailed it again from Sydney, NS to Vancouver on the 22nd, so let’s see
Nah, the mental stress I’ve gotten from waiting for ts, just to learn it was “undeliverable” isn’t the way to gain politeness from me sorry>I believe because the noob canada post employee
Abusing and deadnaming public workers just because you "believe" something has happened? If you can't show respect, be polite.
Being polite is a part of Canadian social fabric. Your PR card was dispatched in less than 26 days, what gives so much stress? It was your own carelessness that you not only lost your PR card, but also lost your CoPR. The issues you are facing are primarily your own creation.Nah, the mental stress I’ve gotten from waiting for ts, just to learn it was “undeliverable” isn’t the way to gain politeness from me sorry
understandable, ive worked at Canada post as a mail driver and speaking from experience to how the stuff goes down on the daily. The people hired aren’t half trained as much you’d expect. I’m also aware of losing the pr card being my fault the “first time” so if I can blame myself then surely blame someone who can’t figure out where my mailbox is at.Being polite is a part of Canadian social fabric. You are passing on the blame of your major errors to a public servant who earns as little as $22/hr and is likely to make mistakes as they aren't trained on Six Sigma for error reduction.
