Hi all,
Does anyone know how long it take to get the pr card, my was mailed on 16 September but in my portal there's nothing updated still showing it's under review.
Thank you

Did you receive your card yet? If so, how many days did it take since the status changed to "We have mailed your card"? Thanks

Hello New immigrants,

If someone is moving to New Brunswick and needs housing, short term lease or full year rental. Please reach out to me, I have a furnished house with everything you will need to start your life in Canada. Please reach out.

Thanks

Hey just wondering, I’m currently in the same boat, been 26 days now! Did you ever receive the card? If so how long did it take??
It actually took around 7 weeks. Just make sure that the address is correct and double-check with IRCC. If it is, it will probably arrive but might be late.

26 days is sort of early to expect your PR cards. It is expected to wait two months for your PR card. In a lot of cases, agents don't even have records to provide status updates before 2 months as these cards don't even go into processing.

Abusing and deadnaming public workers just because you "believe" something has happened? If you can't show respect, be polite.

Nah, the mental stress I’ve gotten from waiting for ts, just to learn it was “undeliverable” isn’t the way to gain politeness from me sorry

Being polite is a part of Canadian social fabric. Your PR card was dispatched in less than 26 days, what gives so much stress? It was your own carelessness that you not only lost your PR card, but also lost your CoPR. The issues you are facing are primarily your own creation.

You are passing on the blame of your major errors to a public servant who earns as little as $22/hr and is likely to make mistakes as they aren't trained on Six Sigma for error reduction.

These threads are to help folks, not for hateful discourses that are unhelpful and nothing more than detractors.

understandable, ive worked at Canada post as a mail driver and speaking from experience to how the stuff goes down on the daily. The people hired aren’t half trained as much you’d expect. I’m also aware of losing the pr card being my fault the “first time” so if I can blame myself then surely blame someone who can’t figure out where my mailbox is at.

“Noob” also just means a freshie and inexperienced. And based on the sort of coworkers I’ve had it’s fair to call most of them a noob. There are countless articles about it too, feel free to google along the lines of “Canada Post lost my parcel” or peep an AmA by an employee.
Cheers.
