PR Card status who landed in December

I landed at 26th December, still waiting for my PR card. I will notify, if something showed up.

A question: typically how long should I wait to have eCAS activated for PR card?

I am not sure either, nothing has changed for me either, we landed on the same date we should keep in touch regarding that. Did you land in coutts?

Woow its almost two months waiting for card? did you call CIC? I know some people who got it in 40 days, right now the processing time says 26 days???

yup I did call them, they will send an inquiry because it is still in process, but I am scared that they will punish me for asking. I don't know why I have this fear of government even though I've done nothing wrong...

I wonder why it shows 26 days on the website when for some people its taking 40 to 60 days???

I know... I am currently planning my wedding, and I don't want to postpone it at this point...

What's avg. processing time for PR card?

On the website it says 23 days, there are some people who haven't received their cards since 60 days, I haven't heard anyone receiving their card in less than 40-45 days, when did you land?

There were a lot of applicants through November/December/January probably and they are still working through that backlog. When I landed on 11th of January, the average processing time was shown as 48 days on the website and on the border I was told 6-10 weeks.

Nothing in my ECAS status regarding the PR card. I called CIC a few days ago and they said my card has been sent to production and should be ready really soon. The impression I get from that and other answers people have been getting from CIC is they're having huge monthly production batches there and I'd expect a lot of people getting their cards in the next few weeks.

Thanks Bud, coz I was thinking of giving them a call, I need to leave for my country by March 7th, I doubt I can get my card before that
