PR car renewal Urgent process

Travelled to Dubai thrice and India twice since 2011. My son and I have an expired - 2012 (not cancelled) UAE resident visa on the passport. My daughter has a current UAE resident visa (valid until 2015). Her recent passport also had her name spelled incorrectly. (Have applied for a correction). Was worried but no problems encountered. Normal processing (March 5th) though.

Homemaker, so no employment details provided. Provided no additional documents but what was asked for.

Physical presence - 800 days. 2 passports each with a multitude of stamps. Provided a note detailing travel between 2009 and 2014 complete with page ref to stamps for all 3 applicants.

Had Iranian stamps in Farsi but did not translate since they pertained to a period prior (2006 and 2007) to my move to Canada in 2011. Explained that in the covering letter.

Looks like we were lucky to have received it in the mail!

Called cic as online kept saying processing.
Application was approved and card is in process and will be mailed soon

what other documentation did you guys include in ur application

i included

passport copy translated- dubai stamps and visas
ticket
pay stubs from last 6 months
copy or pr card, license, health card
planeticket and reciept of payment

I have a query regarding the documentation for PR card renewal. Please let me know who has done the renewal recently. It says you need photocopies of passport held for last 5 years and if there are any non english stamps to translate. I have arabic stamps on my passport

1) I will be sending photocopy of my passport as well as wife's passport held for the last 5 years.. What about my son's passport (11 years). Do you need to submit photocopy of all pages of their passport too which are held for the last 5 years.

2) Translation - What about translation of stamps for kids. Do you need to do that too.

3) My old passport was valid from 2002 to 2012. So I have to give the photocopy of the passport as it was held in the last 5 years. What about the translation of stamps which were older than 5 years on this passport. Do you need to translate them too.

I did my renewal recently, havent got the card back yet though. Hopefully will next week, its been approved and will be mailed when i last checked with CIC.

regarding your query, i will try and answer as much as i can.

2) Translation - What about translation of stamps for kids. Do you need to do that too. To be on the safe side get all your stamps translated including your kids. I personally got whole passport translated. -

UPDATE :

I applied on Apr 4th for Urgent process. I did provide all document including my ticket for May 19. As per Canada Post they receive it on Apr 9th. No update on CIC. when i try to check status it shows me my status for Citizenship application. I am thinking to call CIC tomorrow morning. let see how it works. i really need to get my PR card before May 19. hoping for the best ...........

Thats what i did, online it did not show for longest time, even now it only shows in process. I called them and found out the status on my application. That might be your best bet. I am waiting for them to mail my card now, so hoping it will be this week sometime.

true... i still don't have anything under on-line. CIC told me they receive my application on Apr 10,2014. My application approved and card is in production. CIC advice me to call them again after few days to check as i don't see anything under online....

1-Received on April 4th 2014
2-In process on April 9th 2014
I am waiting, it still shows in process

Quebec_resident, you should contact the CIC via phone. mine and Sajirin's says same, but its already approved and card is in production.

thanks, when the call center told you it is in production? did you get it?
Normaly it shows in Ecase if it is approved or not, I will wait till friday then call

Well no i havent received it yet, they said it was in last stage and the application was approved. I should be receiving my card in mail soon. if i see ECAS, its still not updated and shows in process. I told call center same, they told me sometimes its not updated thats why you dont see it. And that what i have been informed by many other ppl who have for PR renewal on urgent bases as well. Some even recieved their cards and it still said processing.
