Yes, same question again. Someone please clarify -- what role does NOC code play in getting PR ?comfortablynumb said:Yes same question.. Why does everyone keep talking about the NOC
For provincial nominations, probably nothing.mkcan said:Yes, same question again. Someone please clarify -- what role does NOC code play in getting PR ?
Oh!! Any idea which are those 'some' ?royce110 said:For provincial nominations, probably nothing.
For FSW, probably a lot. Nobody can say for sure. but it is believed that some NOCs are preferred over others
Entirely speculation based on hearsay. I think in EE method of application NOC has very little role to playroyce110 said:For provincial nominations, probably nothing.

Okay, thank you so much for the detailed explanation. Could there also be a chance of someone NOT getting an ITA despite of meeting the CRS score? I know that if one has not kept their Job Bank active then they might not get an ITA.girlgoneinternational said:As long as your job falls in one of the qualifying NOCs all NOCs are considered same. There is no preference given to certain NOC codes over others . If at all they need more people from a particular NOC , Cic will very clearly mention that in their website . For FSW , CEC and other economic streams your NOC Code must be 0 A or B that's it .
Apart from that if you notice few files being processed quickly than others is all because of factors like
Number of applicants , how clear and strong your documents are , which officer is assessing your file , how many places they need to get background check clearance from etc etc . Each file is unique and requires unique processing . I am sure you all ( those who are waiting ) will get your PPRs soon ..... It's just the matter of time ..

If you meet the CRS cut off for that particular draw YOU WILL get an ITA for sure .mkcan said:Okay, thank you so much for the detailed explanation. But other than this, could other be any other reason for someone not getting an ITA despite of meeting the CRS cut off ?
